I already replied to someone that I don't know that Enigmas can heal super fast. Hua Yong was acting like he was about to die in that room so naturally I expected him to be carried out on a stretcher which would be protocol for all patients.
I thought I did my due diligence when I read the thread someone created about the omegaverse before I started ABO Desire. But there are too many intricacies and all these details were not covered at the time. So it is not nice of you to assume that I wouldn't look stuff up if I don't even know what I have to look up.
Thanks for explaining. What was Hua Yong doing before he became rich enough to chain himself up in a hotel that he knew SSY would be in? How did he control himself? And he knew he could break those chains. He knows how much damage he can do and his own abilities. At best he was being quite careless.
I have taken a dislike to HY and he is written as such a person. So ignoring the omegaverse aspect of it, how he is presented in future episodes is on the show. I do have a spoiler involving marking and yes they might be endgame but not everyone likes who a character chooses to be with on a show. It's up to the showmakers to redeem him (or not) if he truly cares for Sheng Shao You and isn't just obsessed with him.

Thanks for explaining things in this much detail. Genuinely appreciate it. I might not have time to read the novel but maybe in future when I have already forgotten the spoilers the show is giving me. I understand that a show can't cover everything but there is a lot left for the viewers to just figure things out. I don't know how many cdramas or Asian dramas exist on omegaverse but this is my first one so I'm going to have trouble understanding things. Thanks for your patience.

Nope. I hate on all rape scenes. Making a fictional world where people rape each other and the victim can clearly feels horrible afterwards and can even cry at the idea that his partner might have been raped. Plus that partner can lie that he is raped and is now dirty so that the partner he raped can feel sorry and cling to him. Still fans want to pretend they aren't human and rape is normal is beyond me.

With Sheng Shao You and Hao Yong, all this while HY was hiding he was an Enigma. So we can only see chemistry when he starts acting like himself and SSY accepts him as is. Same with Gao Tu. He is hiding his real self. The story is interesting because it is new to me but people are far too aggressive any criticism.

That's why it is a bad production because they don't expect new viewers nor care to explain things and just hope people magically put two and two together and accept that rape is normal in this world.

The only time he released pheromones was when he was with Shen Wen Lang and Gao Tu was getting affected but otherwise no one gets affected by him around that time.

This is again on the directors and editors and I am not blaming the actors. It is the same thing with the X Hotel scene where the scene was supposed to be dark but it was so bright that it didn't make sense the characters couldn't see each other. If I have to read the source novel to figure out what is going on every time, then you are not doing your job correctly as a story teller.

I loved when Sheng Shao You described being an NPC in Hua Yong's game of lies and manipulation. Such a perfect way to put it. The dialogues were great but I expected a far stronger reaction.

They are really dragging the Gao Tu plot. Damn. Give this man a break.

Repeating myself - when he was losing control at the hotel, why is it that he didn't rape the 2 men who came to kidnap him? Sheng Shao You was standing outside the room and he got dragged inside. And he wasn't even remorseful. Now if he is sorry, it sounds completely fake.

During the time he was having "mating syndrom" as you described it. But 2 people came to kidnap him and he managed to not rape them and control himself. But Sheng Shao You didn't enter his room, he was dragged inside. I'm surprised Sheng Shao You hasn't punched him.

As for the rescue scene, the team doesn't know the details of the patients. They have to treat everyone the same and prevent further injury.

That's my point. They don't know so the production team should have treated it as a normal rescue. Then if he wants to stand up and dance on the stretcher, it would be a different matter.
