But I'm glad you accept he is a red flag. I don't mind depictions of red flags. I just don't like romanticising their actions. I think I could have digested all the manipulation and lying if they didn't include a rape/noncon/emotional abuse trope in this drama. That was the point of no return for Hua Yong's character in my mind. Plus the show hasn't even allowed Sheng Shao You to fully express his anger at being betrayed which is disappointing. And yes being toyed with is a betrayal when you (SSY) were genuine and understanding and deeply concerned and painfully worried about fictional situations/harms your partner might be enduring for you.

I saw ep12's BTS (one of them in case there are several) and I don't know why they shot so many kissing scenes just to remove most of it. Their scenes would feel less like dubcon/noncon/SA if they had kept it in.

Your definition of a green flag and mine are completely different. Even if he grovels for SSY's forgiveness while crying real tears which he is too arrogant (and incapable) to do, I won't consider him a green flag. I might hate him slightly less though. SSY has been marked so he may be willing to forgive him at some point. I wonder if he would have tolerated him otherwise. But there's no undoing what he has done.
