I really dont understand why the rating here is getting low but honestly, Filter, is an absolute gem! From its fresh and engaging storyline to its stellar cast, this series delivers everything I could ask for in a drama. The plot is unique and well-paced, keeping me fully immersed from the very first episode. It offers a perfect mix of humor, mystery, and heartfelt moments, making it a great watch for both casual viewers and dedicated drama fans. Filter strikes the perfect balance—its humor feels natural and never cringy. The cast is simply outstanding. Tan Jianci once again proves his versatility, bringing charm and depth to his role. His chemistry with the rest of the cast is effortless, making every interaction enjoyable to watch. The supporting characters also shine, each adding their own flair to the story.Another thing I love about Filter is that it’s a drama you can comfortably watch with family. It’s entertaining, engaging, and has just the right amount of emotion to keep you hooked.

Overall, Filter is definitely worth watching! It’s fresh, fun, and a fantastic showcase of great acting and storytelling. Whether you’re a fan of Tan Jianci or just looking for a high-quality drama, this one is a must-watch!

It’s been a long time since a modern C-drama has completely captured my attention the way Love Me, Love My Voice, Under the Skin 1 & 2 and You Are My Glory did. But right now, I’m fully immersed in FILTER. It’s refreshing to see a drama with an original script, and everything about it feels so well-crafted. I love the cast and their incredible performances, the comedy that perfectly balances the emotions, the heartfelt and memorable moments, the well-developed characters, the smooth pacing. Every episode keeps me engaged, making me look forward to what happens next. For me, this drama is truly one of a kind. I’m counting down the hours until the next episode airs—I haven’t felt this excited about a drama in a long time!❤️

It's interesting that their prejudice against each other began to fade.Though I'm quite dull when it's comes to…
That’s an interesting perspective! Tang Qi’s feelings are quite layered, and it’s hard to tell if his admiration for her other persona was truly romantic or just a deep fascination. Maybe he mistook his intrigue for love, or perhaps he just wasn’t aware of his own emotions yet. As for his restraint, it really depends on how deeply he falls for Su Chengcheng. If his feelings become undeniable, can he still hold onto his so-called ‘pure’ thoughts, or will his inner wolf inevitably be unleashed? Guess we’ll have to keep watching to find out🥰

You’re not biased at all! The fact that so many people dislike Tang Qi just proves how incredible Tan Jianci’s performance is—he’s making the character feel real.

That’s so true! He has that special charm and talent that naturally draws viewers in. His characters always make an impact! Putting aside the fact that I’m a Tan Jianci fan, as a C-drama lover, I genuinely believe he’s the best C-drama actor right now. And honestly, Filter is the best C-drama of February. It something new, fresh, not the typical genre.

It’s honestly hilarious how some people think hating on Tang Qi means Filter is a failure, when in reality, it just proves how effective Tan Jianci’s acting is. If an actor can make people this emotional over a character, it means he’s doing his job perfectly. Not every ML has to be your typical sweet, flawless guy from the start—Tang Qi is complex, flawed, and real, which is why he sparks so much discussion.

And despite all the so-called hate, he’s still ranking #1 in character charts. That alone says everything—people are invested, whether they love him or criticize him. So really, all this backlash? Just proof that Tan Jianci is killing it in his role.👏👏👏👏

A lot of people here are commenting on how ML 'did nothing wrong' and is 'criticised for nothing.' I haven't watched…
It’s surprising how you acknowledge Tang Qi as a realistic character but still criticize him for behaving like an actual human being rather than an idealized drama ML. The whole point of Filter is to depict biases, human flaws, and the way perception shapes relationships. Tang Qi isn’t some cold, heartless villain—he’s just someone with unconscious biases, and the show is clearly setting up his growth arc.

If you watch it attentively he was not able to send the data to Su chengcheng because there was a problem with the internet connection at the office(rewatch to verify) on the other hand, Ignoring FL’s message while replying to Su Miao isn’t about deliberately disrespecting FL—it reflects how he subconsciously prioritizes people in his life. That’s a very real human behavior, not some dramatic evil act. As for the broken leg scene, yes, he showed more concern for Su Miao, but that’s exactly why his character is compelling. He isn’t a typical perfect ML who immediately showers the FL with attention just because she’s the main lead—he has to learn to see things differently, and that’s what makes this drama refreshing.

Besides, saying “he did nothing wrong” doesn’t mean people think Tang Qi is flawless. It means he hasn’t done anything intentionally cruel or irredeemable. The series is clearly portraying his flaws for a reason—so that when he grows, it feels earned. Maybe instead of expecting instant perfection, you should wait and see how his character evolves.

Better watch episode 7 and 8 and comment after watching it❤️.

Filter is an original script, which makes it even more exciting and refreshing. In a sea of remakes, sequels, and predictable formulas, it’s rare to see something truly unique. The story is gripping, thought-provoking, and absolutely worth watching. If we keep dismissing unconventional ideas just because they challenge the norm, we’ll be stuck with the same recycled content forever. Let’s support creativity and originality❤️.

I cant stand the ml character. Insulting the fl amd trlling her to reflect cause she aint "good looking" in his…
Did you really watch the drama? Did you even understand it? That scene was a complete miscommunication. The ML never insulted the FL’s looks—he was criticizing the poor quality of the makeup product she used, not her actual appearance. The misunderstanding was part of their character development, showing how they had different perceptions of each other in the beginning. Their relationship isn’t about instant love; it’s about gradual growth and understanding.

And let’s be real—if the ML were really as shallow as you claim, his entire character arc wouldn’t make sense. His initial attitude wasn’t just about looks; it reflected his flawed perspective and personal insecurities, which he had to confront and change over time. His attraction to Su Miao wasn’t just because of her beauty—it was tied to an idealized image he had to unlearn. That’s exactly why his journey matters.

The FL didn’t fall for him blindly either. She saw his growth, his sincerity, and the changes in his behavior. That’s what made her feelings for him meaningful. If you reduce his entire arc to ‘he likes pretty girls,’ then you’re completely missing the point of his development. It’s fine if you don’t like the character, but at least understand the story properly before making such claims.

After finishing four episodes of Filter yesterday, I'm completely obsessed-I need more ASAP! This drama is an absolute gem, and I can't stop laughing. It's so refreshing and different from usual C-dramas, making it even more addictive. Every scene is pure entertainment, and I'm living for it! Tan Jianci and Li Landi are comedic gold - their chemistry, expressions, and energy are just perfect. I'm loving every second of it🥰🥰🥰
From the very first episodes, Filter proves to be more than just an entertaining drama-it carries a deep and meaningful message about self-worth, confidence, and respect for women.
Beneath its humor lies a refreshing take on societal norms, breaking free from the traditional portrayals of female leads that often reinforce unrealistic beauty standards. In a world where media often pressures women to strive for impossible beauty standards, Filter is a breath of fresh air. It provides a comforting and uplifting experience for viewers, reminding them that beauty is not about fitting into a mold but about embracing one's true self. Every confident girl is the most beautiful, and Filter makes sure to highlight this message in a way that feels both natural and empowering.
For anyone looking for a drama that is not only fun to watch but also carries a meaningful and positive message, Filter is a must-see. It's incredibly satisfying, proving that entertainment can be both enjoyable and socially impactful.❤️❤️❤️

CONGRATULATIONS TAN JIANCI AS
TANG QI👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Im so thrilled specially seeing Filter series debut with such high V-List rating of 9.18 on its first
day.👏👏👏👏
That's an impressive achievement and shows
just how much attention the drama is getting.s great that you enjoyed the friendship dynamics in Filters! The way the drama portrays besties and sisters seems to add an emotional depth that many viewers can relate to. Female friendships are often underrepresented in dramas, so when a series gives them proper attention, it makes the story feel more well-rounded and realistic. Many idol dramas tend to focus solely on romance, but incorporating strong platonic relationships makes the characters feel more human. It also allows for more engaging subplots, where the lead characters aren't just defined by their love interests but also by their bonds with friends and family.Tan Jianci's idol dramas do tend to be very friendly to female audiences. His characters often break away from the typical cold or overbearing male lead archetype, making them more likable and engaging.
He brings a natural charm and sincerity to his roles, which makes his on-screen relationships-whether romantic or platonic-feel refreshing.🥰🥰🥰

Anyway, let’s stay positive and worry-free! Let’s just focus on supporting Tan Jianci’s upcoming drama. With his immense talent and dedication, I have no doubt Filter will be another top-tier drama. It’s fresh, unique, and something new to look forward to. Popularity and pre-hype don’t define a drama’s worth—what truly matters is the quality of the story, the execution, and, most importantly, the performance of the actors. And when it comes to acting, Tan Jianci never disappoints.

Solid Tan Jianci fans will always appreciate and support his work because we know he pours his heart and soul into every role he takes on. Rankings and trends come and go, but a great performance leaves a mark forever. Years down the line, people might forget the numbers, but they’ll remember how a drama made them feel. Just like Xiangliu and all his unforgettable characters, I know Tan Jianci will once again deliver a performance that stays with us long after the drama ends. So let’s enjoy the journey and trust in his brilliance!

At the end of the day, rankings and hype may fade, but great performances leave a lasting impact. Tan Jianci’s acting always stands the test of time, and I have no doubt Filter will be no different. Just like Xiangliu and all his past characters, this role will leave its mark and stay in our hearts for years to come!😘😘😘
