“I’m beyond excited and looking forward to Filter! There’s no need to overly hype it because solid fans of Tan Jianci will definitely watch. When a drama is truly good, it will naturally gain recognition, and I have no doubt that Filter will be one of those dramas that people will talk about long after it airs.
What makes Filter stand out is that it’s an original script, which is refreshing in an industry filled with remakes and adaptations. Original stories bring something new and unpredictable, keeping audiences truly engaged. That alone already makes the drama exciting, but what makes it even better is the casting. Tan Jianci and Li Landy are both incredibly talented actors, and I have full confidence that they will bring depth and authenticity to their roles.
Tan Jianci has consistently proven himself as a versatile actor who fully immerses himself in every character he plays, and I know he will deliver another outstanding performance. Li Landy is also a skilled actress, and together, they will create a fresh, dynamic on-screen chemistry that will bring Filter to life in a way that feels real and compelling.
At the end of the day, it’s not about drama views, rankings, or unnecessary online debates. True quality will always shine through. Good acting speaks for itself, and audiences will recognize and appreciate it. I believe Filter will be a drama that surprises many, and I can’t wait to see how Tan Jianci brings his role to life in a way only he can. This will be another masterpiece in his career, and I’m so excited to witness it!”❤️❤️
I feel relieved that Tencent is putting effort on promotion.Even Hi6 ep view is high 🥹Jianci as always doesn't…
I get why some people are worried, especially with the timing and the fact that Filter isn’t backed by a big IP. But personally, I see that as an advantage rather than a disadvantage. Original scripts bring something fresh to the audience without the baggage of novel fans nitpicking every detail.
I also agree that word of mouth plays a huge role—sometimes, big IP dramas flop despite high expectations, while lesser-known ones thrive because of strong storytelling and performances. Tan Jianci has already proven his talent, and his ability to bring depth to any role will speak for itself.
At the end of the day, numbers and rankings come and go, but good acting leaves a lasting impact. I’m just excited to see what Filter brings to the table and will be supporting TJC and the cast all the way! And also Tan Jianci and Li Landi are both talented, and I trust them to bring something fresh to the screen. No matter the rankings, their performances and hard work deserve recognition. I’m looking forward to Filter and will be supporting it wholeheartedly!”*
Honestly it's a bad decision by stupid tencent to release this drama now, should have released in early Feb, there…
No offense, but I started watching The First Frost and ended it midway through the second episode. I just couldn’t feel the vibe, and I’m not sure why—something felt missing for me. But of course, we all have different preferences when it comes to C-dramas, and that’s completely fine.
That said, I think it’s unfair to assume that Filter will rank lower or ‘stand no chance’ compared to The First Frost. As Tan Jianci fans, we’re already grateful for any opportunity to see his work, and we know how much effort he puts into every project.
Personally, I’m really looking forward to Filter because it’s an original script—fresh, new, and different from the typical rom-coms. Unlike adapted dramas, where fans of the novel often criticize the cast for not meeting their expectations, Filter won’t have that issue. It allows the actors to bring something entirely original to the screen without preconceived biases.
I’m excited to see Tan Jianci and Li Landi in this, and I’ll be supporting them all the way🥰
I can see now why some folks were saying Tang Qi was color blind ... but I'm not sure if that's the case or just…
That color tone in that video sounds intriguing, my guess its likely signifies a shift between past and present or even reality and imagination and given the sci fi element of Filter and su chengchengs ability to change appearance maybe Tang qi might be struggling to distinguish between what's real and what's an illusion.Since this is a Tong Hua drama, there’s probably more beneath the surface, and it might get really emotional.
What’s your take? Do you think Tang Qi has a tragic backstory, or is he just caught up in the confusion of Chengcheng’s changing identities? So excited to watch anything with Tan Jianci im sure its worth it plus Li Landy is a great actress too, so their chemistry is interesting to see... any way just my opinion🥰🥰🥰 Lets get ready to fullly support Duo duo Tan Jianci❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
Omggggg, the new teaser is so cute!!! Adorable! But they are still hiding the plot from us LOL.
I guess its not simple as the trailer shows, after seeing all the videos on weibo hmmm I guess lets get ready to laugh and cry? Given Tong Hua’s reputation for crafting emotionally complex narratives, we can anticipate a series that blends lighthearted moments with deeper emotional undertones. Tong hua plus Tan Jianci hmmm interesting🙂
Zhao lusi. As I recently read that novel rebirth of malicious empress, in some parts i imagined her while imagining…
Thanks for the info. Anyway looking forward to any Tan Jianci upcoming works of Tan Jianci🥰 Right now just doing rewatch for all his old series. I even finished watching all his old support role. Any idea when Love has fireworks will be aired? Been waiting for so long.
I wish Tan jianci & Bailu would act in a historical drama they will make a perfect pair . Both have good acting…
Me too.I really want Bai Lu and Tan Jianci to work together in a drama because their bubbly personalities would make the set an absolute joy to be on. Their cheerful and lively energy would create such a fun and positive atmosphere, making every moment behind the scenes just as entertaining as what we see on screen. Plus, both of them are incredibly talented actors who can bring depth and charm to their characters, ensuring a performance that is both captivating and memorable. Their chemistry would undoubtedly shine, making the drama even more enjoyable to watch!
I hope they don’t act in that drama but in another production. The amount of hate they got because of that drama…
I completely agree! Tan Jianci’s height is perfectly fine, and his presence on screen is what truly matters. Lost You Forever proved that his charisma, acting skills, and the way he carries himself make height irrelevant. Xiang Liu captivated audiences not because of how tall he was, but because of Tan Jianci’s incredible performance. It’s frustrating when other people fixate on height, ignoring the fact that many successful actors—both in Asia and the West—aren’t exceptionally tall. At the end of the day, talent and screen presence should be the priority! And thats what Tan Jianci have his exceptional talent. Actually, I really wish Tan Jianci would focus on movies rather than C-drama series. Why? Because in films, he would have more opportunities to be recognized for his incredible talent rather than having unnecessary attention placed on superficial things like height differences.
Movies prioritize storytelling, character depth, and strong performances, allowing actors to truly shine based on their skills. In contrast, many C-dramas—especially idol dramas—tend to fixate on height pairings and visual aesthetics, often overshadowing an actor’s actual ability. It’s frustrating to see talented actors like Tan Jianci being judged by something as trivial as height when his acting, charisma, and screen presence are what truly matter.
In films, he could explore a wider range of roles, from intense dramas and psychological thrillers to action-packed films where his dance background could be a huge advantage. He wouldn’t be limited to roles designed to fit a certain “ideal” couple dynamic. Instead, he’d have the freedom to take on complex, challenging characters that allow him to showcase his full acting range.
Honestly, he deserves to be in projects where his skills are the main focus, not where outdated industry standards dictate who he should be cast with based on height rather than talent.🥰

I honestly don’t understand what kind of ridiculous criticism that is—why do people always question Tan Jianci’s height? He is one of the best actors in the entertainment industry, and his talent speaks for itself. What’s the point of being tall if you can’t even act? Are people really watching dramas just because the male lead is tall and handsome? That’s laughable.
This is exactly why I keep dropping so many C-dramas lately—the poor acting just makes them unbearable to watch. I’d rather not waste my time and instead rewatch all of Tan Jianci’s dramas, where I know I’ll get top-tier performances!Tan Jianci is the best🥰
