Cha Eun Woo has proven that as an actor he is not expressionless. It was the nature of his character, but when…
Oh...I love Cha Eun Woo. But you know ppl still say things about him. But back then he was a fresher amongst the others and more of an idol more known for his visuals, he was bashed more for his acting. I do agree that even inspite of them having age difference, there was visible chemistry.
I am sorry, but it was terrible. It felt as if they just had a brief idea of the story line and they just improvised whatever came to their mind just to somehow complete 14 episodes. Their was no...like literally no chemistry between the main leads. Sometimes it was like SFL is the main leads. The characters seemed as if they were just extras or for cameos. The story is all over the place and is not glued together. Comparing this with the original, people complained about Cha Eun Woo being stiff and expressionless, but then every other actor(leads, second leads, supporting, extras) were amazing. It kept me glued and story was binding and made sense.
I am also Indian. I think there was some misinterpretation because he said he likes Indian curry. In general, it is a known fact that Japanese like curry a lot, so much so that they have there own version of curry(Japanese curry) . They eat it with rice.
I don't really understand this. I have seen Pon's previous dramas and he displayed amazing chemistry with his leading ladies. But this drama some how makes no sense to me. I hardly find him missing his dead wife as much as he should. I don't see his attachment with his own kid as much as it should have been. I don't see him show his anger or resentment towards his mother as much as he should even after knowing the truth. The female lead is far less appealing in her character, she is more interested in revenge than love of her sister and nephew. The love for her first love seems as if it is the other way around. It feels as if he is the one who loves her and she only treats him as a friend. And obviously she has no chemistry with the male lead either. I am no professional but I was not really convinced by her acting. I couldn't really buy it. I am so sorry. I would really not want to watch it again. Praomook was one of the initial Thai dramas that I watched after a Thai movie in 2013 and 2-3 dramas (around pandemic) before Praomook. I was so impressed by Pon that I watched many of his previous works. This was a total disappointment. 😞
Please tell me name of the two people died because of pitch
well this is just my conspiracy theory. I think Pitch 1st broke their friendship by showing wanwan the video of her brother and Prae. Wanwan in order to take revenge disguised as Meen and changed marriage presentation of Prae which lead to her suicide, while everyone was blaming Meen.He even deleted all the CCTV footages.Perhaps he even knew about Wanwan's feelings for Meen's bf since they all attended same school and college. So Pitch's path was clear. Ultimately the revenge in Wan was so ignited that it ended up in her death. So indirectly I guess, I can blame Pitch's manipulation of Prae,Wan Meen and May to be the death of Wan and Prae. Just my conspiracy theory. You don't have to agree with it.
I’m watching it for the 24th time right now. You’re right about the fashion for ML! Maybe it’s because he…
I agree that he is good looking and has a nice body. I had a major crush on him back then. I like him now too and follow him. Regardless, his fashion definitely was ultimate in this series, even BOF.If today they make someone else like V Or Cha Eun Woo wear them, those clothes will not look outdated to me. At leas tot me, with no fashion background, would rather admire them. I remember back then Kim Hyun Joong in his hey days was called walking sculpture and fashion icon.

In that case... you should not complain why she's being disliked? In this manner you can justify every crime and criminal and put them in a gray character. We can just go on and on with this discussion. I just wanted to politely explain people's and my perspective for not liking the character. But you are justifying corruption, bullying, bribery...
people saying the FL isnt likeable and i dont really get it? why does every FL have to be a perfect shy lovely…
You see, the thing is, in real life, and most dramas too, if people agree they aren't rich they don't all of a sudden pretend to be rich by wearing someone else's stuff and post it online and lie non stop. Its okay, she is a teenager, people get distracted and she was dumb. Then she was bullied by the girl she home tutored and she goes to her school's entrance exam and throws a bucket of water on her. Even this is forgivable, she is dumb. But how can you like a character who accepts a place in an esteemed school in exchange of not being an eye witness to a murder. Even though she did not see the face, she knew the victim. She is greedy. This is what is making her character unlikable. but since she is the FL, obviously, we will get to like her eventually. 🙂
Teerakit and Dangwad are actually married. So basically T lures rich women and makes them fall in love with him…
I agree... I just finished ep 11 and I won't even say Wei was just an idiot, but kind of a traitor too. She believed in a man but not in her best friend who literally told her everything. She was even suspicious of him and Jane too. There's something called bro code amongst men, i think a female code also exists. Still Wei married him. It must have so awkward for Many even to face him, still she attended the wedding. Up until now, to me,Wei is less likable even than T.
About the drama- I did watch the original Japanese version. this one, to me, is equally good and a little extension of the story. The acting is amazing. everything is subtle, to the point, you can feel the vulnerability of the characters, their emotions, their guilts, their loneliness. Off the topic, when I saw Jimin's character I thought I had seen him somewhere and I visited his profile. He is the guy from Legends of the Blue sea. 9 years hence, this person has not aged at all and can still do a high school student's role... woah...
When you watch it reading even after a one line synopsis or for that watching it for a good 15-20 mins, you basically know what the story is and it's going to end more or less. Acting was good though.
I would like to confess that this drama is one of my guilty pleasures amongst kdramas. I already had a crush on Kim Hyun Joong when I watched Boys Over Flowers in 2013, so it was obvious for me to watch it. I also watched Baek Saeng Jo's diary, so I understand his feelings too. Now that in so many years I have so many dramas, and explored even J dramas and Thai dramas, it feels ok to sometimes leave your brain at rest watch it. I do agree that it is a little misogynistic, narcissistic , ML lead seems to ruthless and female lead too dumb. To be honest i would have atleast made the FL a little smarter. She is not good at anything... Like literally nothing. Her father is a cook but she can't even cook. All the story depicts is her immense love for ML and pure heart. I wish they would have atleast made her qualify the nurse exams. ML as we all know is too arrogant. Last but not the least, ML's fashion, whoever chose his clothes... Amazing... Even after 13 years they don't look outdated. I won't rate it, because 1. It's about personal preference. 2. It's 13 years older, so ... 3. You know i already am biased towards the person who plays ML☺☺☺ Btw, i watched it first in 2016, and i've been rewatching ever since😉
I am on episode 8 and this drama was made i guess in 2021. My first k drama was boys over flowers, i watched it way back in 2013 which released in 2008 or 2009. This drama gives vibes of typical k dramas that were made between 2005-2015. Rich, good looking, sophisticated, arrogant guy on the other hand poor, rather tom boyish, speaking whatever her mind, simple girl. Love triangles and stuff. Typical chic flick. Till now there is no twist or turn. Watch it if you just want to relax or such genre is your guilty pleasure. I hate to admit but boys over flowers, the heirs, playful kiss have been my guilty pleasures.
ML & FL were good together but i enjoyed Hye yi and Seon Jae's chemistry more. I knew she would end up with him, but it was still very subtle and there was "chemistry".
I just checked the male lead's age. He does not look that old. This is my first time watching any of his dramas, i don't know why but at times his looks reminded me so much of J Hope.
I guess, I need to talk about Pitch and Meen first. Pitch was not only smart, shrewd, cruel but also manipulative (I think he stalked Meen too). I had to rewatch that scene from last episode decipher what really was going on there? And I realized, so this man might have actually manipulated both Wanwan and Prae. First he sent the video to Wanwan ,fuelled her anger and i think he suggested her to pretend as Meen and exchange the marriage videos. Later he got rid of the footage where Wanwan could be seen. He then manipulated his sister, i don't know how and where it started, but before Prae's suicide, when she thought Meen betrayed her, she texted Pitch something, like he was the only person she trusted. Hence she died probably hating Meen and trusting her brother. I also think he was stalking Meen. Once when Meen came to his house, his system was on, it seemed as if he was monitoring a geographical location. While he was always available to Meen whenever she needed him out of nowhere. This could have been a reason why Meen trusted him, (he was always available when she needed him emotionally) , though she never gave it a thought that he appeared everywhere way too often. But I also wont blame Meen a lot because she knew all along that he loved since school days even after they broke up( and Prae's promise and perhaps she blamed herself for him becoming a player) . Throughout the drama he seemed suspicious but never psycho. He was trying to woo Meen but he seemed suspicious as in, throughout the drama i thought he also wanted to know truth behind suicide of his sister so much so that at a point i felt he doubted Meen too(when he made her drink wine and blurt out stuffs and also when they started to date Meen confessed that Pal was actually murdered). I never ever thought he had so much hatred for his sister that he would want her to die, by causing stirr within her friends, causing misunderstandings, jealously(sleeping with friends), make the friends fight and ultimately two of them die and he ended up with his prized possession. In the last episode I don't even think he got caught, i think he wanted to flex his victory. The way he smirked and lifted his daughter without any remorse. I think he had everything planned ahead. If season 2 comes, he would a tough nut to crack. A very strong antagonist. Meen will have a long fight Last but not the least, the actress who played Wanwan, was amazing in terms of acting skills.
