My Opinion: Didn't quite like Zhao lusi as a 14 year old as well as her expressions... Loved her though as an undergraduate student! The plot was perfect! I think all girls have fallen in love with their brothers bf one time or another. So did I! The plot really touched my heart! As well as the fact that it was reciprocated, because usually this is not the case... Now, as far as the ML is concerned... I've said it before he is very very VERY charming and such a great actor! He really got me... I REALLY WISH ALL LOVE STORIES COULD BE LIKE THIS...

Yes this is a cultural thing in China even today. You must be very close to call them only by the first name or some kind of a nickname (they usually double the first name like, Lulu for Bai Lu at least for women).
