This drama is good. It's fun and light-hearted.But it is filled with cliches.Incoming spoilers...
It's the mix of every possible cliche in Kdrama world.
Poor and miserable FL with ex lover with cheating problems. Nice and rich chaebol like ML. FL doesn't know he's rich af. ML's childhood trauma. Childhood connections. Office romance. Irritating FLs ex and his trash family. 2FL who's getting in the way of ML and FL. The contract marriage kinda situation. Evil ML's family members. Chaebol family rivalry. The obvious villain due to casting choices. and the list goes on and on.
The drama is pretty guessable tbh. The FL lost her apartment and went in a sketchy motel to live. The next scene is ML, FL and the team having dinner. I could just guess what's gonna happen next. FL will be drunk beyond her limits and ML will have to take her home, and then see her living situation... etc... There were so many scenes that could be guessed throught out the drama.
On the bright side, I kinda like the OST + sound design of the drama. The BGMs suits the drama very well. But it also kinda backfires when they play a bright, and funny light hearted background music during serious situations of the drama to make it lighthearted and hilarious. It's kinda weird to me.
Regardless of everything going on it's a good drama for a quick binge session and get some laughs.
I have a very genuine question.Does MDL rating affect a Drama in anyway? Like does it have effects on the awards,…
Nope it has basically no influence, But also kinda have some influence. Because when you search a drama, MDL page is one of the first pages that pop up about the drama, and if that got low ratings, people might deter from watching a show thinking it might be a bad one. IMDB is not the only rating for Asian dramas so.......
So, even in real life, there are people who bully in Korea.
What do you mean by “even in real life”? As others have mentioned, this is actually a serious issue in Korea. The Glory was inspired by a real incident from 2006, where a student burned another student with a hot curling iron.
Omg the amount of piece of sh*ts this drama have is insane. I just want all of them to go to hell. Hell might even be too good for them.
Either way this drama have all grey characters. No one's pure black and white. It's all shades of grey. It's hundreds and thousands of shades of grey. The only pure white thing might be Sua cause she's only a child. She'll too lose it at some point.
From Chaebols, to cops to family to friends. Ahhhhh just go to hell.
This drama is a good one. I'm just lost for words to describe the feeling I have inside me.
If anyone's wondering whether they should watch it or not, definitely watch this.
Middle is below average.

I would have ripped her ex and his family into pieces. He's literally a piece of sh*t. I don't even have names to describe him.
And I feel like I'm yet to encounter the worse of them.
