i feel like PMY dramas are always rated a little lower than what i would expect them to be....
I dont't think so. I specifically have rating issues with this drama. This is too low for such a funny drama. All her other dramas that deserve an 8+ rating have an 8+ ratings nevertheless. She obviously have some flops in 2020s.
The logistic team of this con artistry must be overworked, i swear. There's a whole cast and crew to manage, where…
In a drama world, anything is possible I guess. Either way because of the whole crew situation, we get to see much more elaborate con schemes and it's 2x the fun.
Hmm nothing major. But it was enough to make audience confused. It's still a good drama, and that 1.5 episodes probably had the hottest and happiest scenes of the couple, but the writing was too weak. That's it.
They could have added those hot and happy scenes without making ML take stupid decisions in the last 1.5 episodes.
Lol not the sudden historical drama bit.Honestly I've seen similar scenes to Guho's sword fight in serious dramas.…
Yh Guho's fighting scene was so good at one point I was like "did the genre change? " Then the director remembered this is supposed to look comedic and added a bit of silliness towards the end.
Can I rate this 11/10? Exceeded all my expectations. Also can we call this Mothers, instead of Mother. It showcased a spectrum of mothers.
Honestly this was in my watchlist for a long time. It was there rotting in my plan to watch list for many years. For some reason I postponed watching this. I regret it now.
What I'm thankful is I didn't come across any spoilers for this show over the years. I only knew it was a kidnapping case and Lee Bo Young was the lead, that's it. But all my theories and assumptions were blown away as the drama progressed. Luckily I didn't check the full cast list, which added so many surprises while I was watching this.
It was hell of a rollercoaster coaster. One moment we were on top of mount Everest and the next moment we were in the deep Mariana trench.
The plot was simple. A kidnapping case for good. That was it. But it as filled with enough ups and downs for 16 long episodes. There wasn't a single boring or unnecessary moment. It was executed to the perfection.
Everyone in the cast did their best. Specially the young actress. No wonder she won a Baeksang award for Best New Actress.
ngl the romance isn't what's doing it for me in this drama, its the food lol This is the closest I can get to…
Same here. They started with great dynamics between the leads. They had the best opportunity to turn thier romance into one of a kind, given their chemistry, but their romance got barely developed. They were busy trying to recreate another Dae Jang Geum which was not bad. But At the end food was everthing this drama is, not the romance of the leads.
All her other dramas that deserve an 8+ rating have an 8+ ratings nevertheless.

This trio is just perfect.
And as always Guho ends up with hilarious unfortunate events.
And the visuals of the leads are unbelievable. And Lee Chae Min in the last scene 😍😍😍
I can't get enough of James' Undercover looks.
PMY is doing a great job as well.
I absolutely love the brain rot work of this trio.
Exceeded all my expectations.
