This is one of my favourite shows. But this drama may not be everyone's cup of tea.
1. This drama focus more on human relationships.
2. There's no villain here. The doctors lives just flows throughout the drama. πΏβ
3. First episode is kinda overload of information bcz of the amount of characters. It took me a while to figure out who is who. But after that it gets better. Bear with first episode. β οΈ1οΈβ£β οΈ
5. This is a kinda light hearted drama, with amazing friendships and relationships. But also dives deep into human emotions (specially at the hospital) ππ
6. Romance is not the focus of the drama. But it definitely has Romance going on between the characters. But it's slow and much more matured. But if you wait till end, you'll be REWARDED. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
7. Yes you need to watch both seasons. 1οΈβ£β€οΈ2οΈβ£
8. And this drama has lot to do with music. It's literally Hospital PLAYLIST. So... This has 20+ OSTs (for both seasons) and band scenes every episode.πΆπ΅πΈπΉπ·πΊπͺ (No this is not a musical)
9. So don't expect something else from this drama, and give negative ratings just because it didn't go as your expectations.
And this drama literally has the best fan service ever.
Well.... They actually kinda have season 3 worthy amount of content outside the main show.
Why is this show so overrated? I couldn't even finish episode 1. The male lead, JJS, is so boring and uninteresting.…
Yeah, this doesn't come close to "Dr. Romantic," and it shouldn't. They're not the same. "Dr. Romantic," despite its name, was an intense drama filled with medical jargon, power struggles, villains, and politics.
Here, it's a different vibe. No medical intricacies, no power plays. It's all about human relationships. It feels like a genuine medical drama, but it's not. They don't delve into the detailed processes of surgery like "Dr. Romantic" does. The show doesn't aim to turn every doctor into a another Kim Sa Bu. Everyone faces ups and downs, and the medical staff are portrayed as just human, maybe too human for the sake of drama.
Even Yoo Yeon Seok's character is distinctly different. I'll admit, the first couple of episodes were a bit hectic;, may be they needed to introduce all the medical staff to the audience.
JJS was a romantic doctor who knew how to balance the job and romance. May be he was the real "Romantic doctor". I just simply loved how her interacted with each and every staff member. None of the main characters here are toxic tbh.
Kim Sa Bu is a great doctor but lacks a bit of empathy toward his students, using it as a tool for teaching lessons.
No offense to "Dr. Romantic," though. I enjoyed all three seasons as well.
I only watched 2 episodes and now i'm soo confused! So many characters and so much going on.. i'm not so good…
It gets better. It's only confusing in the first episodes like 1 or 2. This was one of my favorite dramas ever. Even I thought this was confusing when I first started watching this. So you are not alone.
We are watching a kdrama
That will definitely happen
Rain reserves to be added to the casting list
And I absolutely love it

4. This is not a serious medical drama, with lots of medical jargon. If you want that watch "Romantic doctor, Teacher Kim" - it's totally opposite of what the name sounds. It has all the thrills and villains you need in a serious medical drama. π¨ββοΈπ©ββοΈπ§ββοΈ
