You will find "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get". I hate Sad and endings as much as any other drama consumer here. Actively try avoid them even... not sure why I didn't check the tags, yet I felt it wasn't all bad, at the end. Both the ML & FL more or less didn't regret their choices (the girl obviously got a second chance to fix things, atleast in the other life). Not sure why they couldn't just apologise & make-up but not like it would have mattered anyway at the end. I did however, skip alot near the end (pretty much knew how it would end midway) so might have missed something...

Happy endings is yes for second couple, not sure about trope but Yang Xun Cang falls first for Mu Qing Cheng, hope that helps

I agree with you there, it was one of the most pretentious drama I have seen. That one scene on the roof top discussing about the serial killer was the nail in the coffin for me. Just gave up there..
