I haven't heard actually! That is very exciting, I just hope they do it justice, because Sailor Moon went downhill when Reeny started to grow up. I stopped watching from Sailor Moon S I think. Also I hope the English dubbing is good because sometimes Serena's voice would drive me crazy lol although I got used to it. I'm not sure why but its one of the few animes that I want to watch in English, I wonder when it'll come out????????????! I love the corniness in Fated to love you, I'm a sucker for melodrama mixed with comedy lol it made me laugh so much! I know this is kind of a silly question but where do I post if I want to start the challege? It'd be kind of cool if this were like a book club where everybody joins a group and has, let's say a week , to complete said drama , movie etc and then we discuss along the way and when it's done. Lol It would be the closest thing to all us drmaholics getting together and marathoning. I think that's why I love this website:) since Its hard to find other people who like anime and dramas where I am, it's nice to to be silly and fangirl over things, I feel like I'm filling a void here ????????

I'm the same way, lacking confidence that is. I've never written a review. But honestly I think it's also because I'm just too lazy????. I think I'd have to be really inspired by something great to do one, like you. If you have the urge though, I think you should go with it. In reality all reviews are just opinions whether they are balanced or not, and I'm sure people would relate in one way or another to what you have to say :)
I agree with you about Faith, it is a bit slow..I think that's probably why I took a break. Min ho is so serious in it lol but then he'll give a smile here and there an my face goes ????????haha. Also the fighting sequences he does are impressive.????
I am really bad a having favorites because I like so many things in so many ways, but a movie that was kind of like Sunny that I loved was Harmony. It's sad but funny and uplifting also, just like Sunny. I think you would like it. I also really like some other 'feel good' funny ones like baby and me, and a hundred days with mr arrogant or my tutor friend (the first one), they all made me laugh a lot???????? I loved house of flying daggers. It's a good story and has really nice cinematography with some romance and Takeshi Kaneshiro is very attractive in it. What about you, what are some of your fav movies/series in general? Do you still watch anime?

Hi thanks for accepting my request :) I like how you summarize things on your page, I can imagine you would write good reviews.I have a couple of dramas that I started marathoning a while ago and am having a hard time getting back to ;/. It's strange even when they are good if you leave them for awhile it's hard to pick up interest again. The main ones I'm almost done with (but haven't watched in a while) are Faith,Rooftop Prince and my Girlfriend is a Gumiho. Faith is actually pretty good, Lee Min Ho is great in it and I ditched it at a cliffhanger point, not sure why! I think I tire myself out lol.I also like my girlfriend is a gumiho and am going to pick it up again. Rooftop Prince isn't bad but it feels like they drag it on a bit towards the middle/end, at least for me. I noticed my focus wasn't there like when I truly like something.I think you would like Autumn's Concerto. I also really enjoyed watching Sunny, I convinced my mom to watch it with me and we both had a nice cry together haha...but that song is great, really does cheer a person up so I couldn't stay sad for too long :)

Hi :)Just about everything you wrote on your profile is true for me too lol. I started with Sailor Moon on Tunami when I was a kid and would watch Dragon Ball Z and Thundercats after it, but I can't watch Sailor Moon very often because it's just one of those things I love so much it hurts lol. It's hard for me to find dramas and anime's I love as much as the 'firsts' :).Fated to love you was one of my first dramas and my first Taiwanese. It's corny and dramatic but really heartwarming and funny also, so I think we have very similar tastes from what I can tell on your list.I also just 'liked' the facebook group and checked out the blog spot!It gets me excited to talk and bond with other people over these nerdy obsessions :)So how is your drama challenge going? I think I'm gonna start too now that I have the summer off

Hi Thanks for accepting me :).I was thinking i've had my mdl profile for nearly a year and haven't made many attempts to get to know other people:P I did take that picture it's kind of random I just didn't know what else to put for now, I think I'm going to change it soon. I love vampires! but I'm very picky about the movies and shows that have them... vampire prosecutor was really original though and had me hooked the whole time I watched it, which is rare for me. I wanted to add you because I somehow stumbled onto your profile, I think from clicking around the forums and I saw that in your comments you like IU :) I am trying to listen to more Kpop to see if I find more music I like and I loved her voice from Dream High, she was the cutest. Also it's kind of cool how I can understand some of your Portuguese with my Spanish :)If you were to make a list of your favorite top 10 songs what would they be?

Seriously.. It helps to know Spanish somehow though, since it makes it easier to not have such a heavy pronunciation like English. I'm kind of getting started with Kpop but wouldn't say i'm really into a lot of it, so far. I watched most of Kim Sam Soon only need a few episodes to finish, and it has such great music. So I looked it up and so far love Clazziquai project. Is that Kpop though? I'm kind of confused if it's just the boyband/ girl bands. I also liked the main songs in heartstrings so I heard some of CNBlue.Jung Yong Hwa has a really awesome voice, but I haven't heard anything i immediately liked, like the songs in the drama. Also liked the music in Dream High of course so I listened to some 2pm and got into some of their songs, "give it to me" is my fav so far. I'm a sap i like the lovey songs and the upbeat ones, but not so much the overkill poppy/dance club ones.I haven't listened to anything by the big names like super junior, girls generation and all that. Still a complete novice :). What about you? I see you like metal and kpop haha big jump since kpop is kinda opposite huh? :) how did you get into it?

The awesome thing about getting the Tefl certificate is that companies hire you to teach and pay for your expenses as well as a salary. It's also a really short process it can be done in 6 weeks and not too intense, sounds like a good oportunity for dreamers like us right? :) I'm thinking of going to Koreatown the weekend after next. Also a Korean sauna :). Since I'm the weirdo in my friends too they're only game cause they want to go shop inLA lol. Any of your fav dramas I guess :) just no more tearjerkers I've been seeing so many of those lately ????

I'm 22 :). Yeah I know exactly what you mean, cartoons versus real six packs, not quite the same. Plus so many of the hottest actors are so well rounded, they are impresive on so many levels. They sing all nice, and look good and mostly have good style haha. Makes me want to be less frumpy. This obsession thing is crazy isn't it? My friends invite me to go to bars and I make up excuses because I want to stay home and watch dramas. O.O ^_^
As for my asian fever..omy..there's a ton of asian international students at school and in my apartment building...I just want to befriend them all! But..I don't want to be a complete weirdo haha and don't know where to start lol. I've been thinking about getting the TEFL certificate (Teach Eng as a foreign language) and going to So. Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan or somewhere so I can finally live and breathe it all. That'd be awesome. I'm pretty sure this is not a phase. I'm just interested in living in another culture I really like/respect and can learn from. But reality is reality. I definitely want to check out anything you recommend, i think we have similar tastes/opinions.:)So what kind of work do you do? Oh and random but have you been to Korea town in LA? i want to go and finally taste the food I see in the dramas.

I loved Nana the anime, that and the sexy guy as your picture drew my attention lol. I'm guessing you were born 1987? I haven't watched anime in so long either, it's kind of weird going between dramas and animes for me. I still lov em though!:) some of my fav's: Paradise Kiss, Honey&Clover;, Sailor Moon grew up watching it,Skip Beat,Yamato Nadeshiki Shichi Henge,Serei no Moribito, Nodame Cantabile, Darker than Black, Naruto and prob some others haha seeing as I was marathoning anime for a good while before switching to dramas. On the drama end there's been a lot that I loved while watching but now that I try to remember them they kinda faded out. I really like Vampire Prosecutor,I love the detective woman, she's really good in Kim Takgu Baker King too. I'm about to finish watching Dream high and I really like it too, the music is awesome. I also really liked You're Beautiful, Pasta, Coffee Prince, Scent of a Woman, Autumn's Concerto,Fated to Love you and Boys over Flowers.Oh and Skip Beat, Choi Siwon...so hot lol.. newfound love and appreciation for asians like never before haha.

Yeah pretty much everything is expensive here, kind of sucks. That's why I'm looking at other schools also :/ I actually saw the anime and really liked it, it was one of my first. Playful kiss was ok, I think I just liked the storyline more than the drama itself..some characters were really annoying..what are some of your fave dramas/animes then?

Somewhere around 2 years but I'm not really sure. I think my first was Playful Kiss, which I saw on Netflix since I loved the anime Itzanura na Kiss. It all kind of went downhill from there tho. I've lost track of time while being obsessed lol. And you? How come you only stayed in UCSB for a year? Are you still in school?

I was just excited to find another dramaholic/ anime nerd from Cali, that speaks Spanish!
I'm learning Korean and Japanese too. Where in California are you?
