But on this reply- A simple google search would have proven to you that he did none of what he was accused of, and that no proof has been found for any of those accusations yet. If you want to accuse someone of something, you need to provide evidence for that claim. In Zhehan's case, no one has been able to find any in over three years of trying, despite even a large money reward having been offered in exchange.

Unfortunately not quite. Things are much better now, and he has held a concert in Hong Kong (and his music career is going well), but the newest drama was released only outside of mainland China. He is working as an indie artist and is well-recognized abroad, but the documentary is fully funded by himself.
For a full resolution, his case would need to be openly investigated and the ones responsible held publicly accountable, but it has not happened yet.

Because of a highly organized, highly expensive disinformation campaign organized against him, apparently because his competitors in the industry wanted all profits to themselves. He also had no backing, so he was an easy target for those with means.
All those claims made against him(over 30 in total) have been proven baseless, and he submitted a criminal complaint about the defamation in 2021 already. Sadly, the people benefiting from destroying his life and career hold a lot of money and power, so nothing can be done for now. Even the police turned him away the first time he tried to get help from them, and it required massive public outrage for his complaint to be registered. The complaint seems to then have been buried, despite the issue even being raised in the 2022 congress meetings. Even now, the social media accounts of anyone asking about the progress of his case keep getting banned.
In other words, his "cancellation" is a large-scale failure of the justice system, and an extreme example of cyberviolence. Many legal professionals and even professors in the most prestigious universities keep calling for his case to be investigated, so far to no avail.

When a bunch of marketing accounts started spreading lies about him, everyone, including official media, was happy to attack and accuse a random person without doing any fact-checking. Even now, no one is willing to admit their mistake, because it would mean having to reimburse him for massive lost income and the suffering of his family.
