OMG yes I forgot about the 8888 commenter! That person should win some sort of prize? Maybe a chance to dictate what topic should be discussed for an hour?
Hoped people could have supported Piece of your mind like this way too. Just because a really famous actor stars…
I get your love for POYM but I think you should bear in mind that dramas like all in things in life is arbitrary. Not all people are going to click with whatever you like or whatever I like. That is why it often seen as a feat when dramas/music/movies get a large following. It is because the producers/writers/directors/actors/singers are able to touch a large amount of people. Even things that are popular aren't universally loved. I know some people who don't like this drama. I know people who hate the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). There are people who don't get why BTS is so popular and don't like their music.
Yes, there are undiscovered gems that if they reached the right amount of people would be popular too but that's just life. We live in a world where there are A LOT of media - if it was back in pre 2000s where there were only three TV channels then yes, things could be different.
POYM will get it's own time to shine. A lot of great dramas are not always popular but they are remembered and celebrated for their brilliance.
