I don't about anyone else but I'm loving revenge seeking Jeong Yo. As bad as I feel for Bi - O, the story is keeping me hooked. I loved that Jeong Yo didn't try to deny his amnesia was fake, and outrightly challenged Bi - O.
I don't hate Jeong Yo for what he is doing. Sure he'll feel really bad when the truth comes out, but considering what he went through and how everything pointed to the "friend" (they keep crushing on each other :)))) he was so close to, his reaction and want for revenge is justified. He lost the ability to play the piano, suffers constant pains, you can't expect a person to forgive or forget something like this.
Bi - O's mother ignites a different kind of rage in me, she has absolutely zero guilt of what she did, and now Bi - O has to face the consequnces of her bad decisions. And the grandfather, he just randomly decided feel sorry for the grandson he gave so much trauma to. What is that about???
Jeong Yo's anger is so palpable, you can see how much anger he had suppresed trying to act friendly while trying to make everyone believe that he doesn't remember what happend to him.
their final ep ticket was sold out in 1 min.. so not sure what shorter end of the stickDrama is most watched globally…
I'm not talking about the popularity, I'm talking about the hate the character is getting due to being indecisive and always running away from BJ due to how the story is progressing. How messy the story is becoming for LJ as a character.
The show ofc is very loved, and Tee and Heng are my fav as well.
I kinda feel bad for Tee and Heng, especially Heng, cause he got the shorter end of the stick with his character. His acting is good but the character Little Jane makes you want to hit him. If the character writing and aesthetics matched how LJ was in the first 2 episodes, this show would've been soooo good.
LJ and BJ in the first 2 episodes were just amazing. The tension, the stolen glances, the constant touches and sexual tension was sooooooo good. I was hooked. It just went downhill after that.
Everyone's comments are making me want to read the novel (and drop the series).
Please do!! It's much better, things make sense, the story progress doesn't make you wanna hit/hate LJ, nc scenes are just wow. I read the whole novel after ep 1, imagining the scenes happening in the series, just to be disappointed :((
I swear the amnesia trope in the book was handled so well, like LJ's whole family helped and loved BJ, and LJ fell in love with BJ even though he didn't remember him. This series started going down the minute it deviated from the novel. Like seriously?????? The moment they be happy, the director decides says NO, make them (especially Big Jane) unhappy. It is soooooo frustrating and irritating at this point. Dan is everywhere. It's been 5 years since the guy dumped you, move on dude, you're just creepy now.
