BL has a whole history and reputation behind it and it is celebrated, saying this is not a BL feels so wrong. Its part of the culture and it helps promote this content, splitting it all up into random terms like man love or something is over complex and unnecessary. BL is an experience of its own.

i agree, i would have liked him to be more suspicious so it became more of a game where they are slightly more equal players. Total domination is just not so fun, i want to see mr sheng get suspicious and start to look at hua yong differently more early on but still have desire for him. He just lays there unconscious and it not too fun.
Is anyone else struggling to feel any genuine love from hua yong? I also not to happy the the forced heats pretty much just completely sedate Mr Sheng, it would have been nicer if it was like his alpha rut earlier in the series where he showed more desperation and need for his partner, now he's just laying there being S/Aed. I am enjoying this as the first omegaverse drama but its just a few things i think could have been shown a bit better. It feels like hua Yongs obsession is so much that it is just enveloping any genuine feelings towards Mr sheng, its hard to feel any warmth from him even when hes faking it.
I read the book and it was much easier to digest as Mr. sheng is depicted as 'giving in' and welcoming the onslaught instead of just laying there unconscious whilst being touched up by Hua yong.
I understand this is unique and more of a predator/prey than romance but theres a few things that could have been depicted a bit better.
its still a bl as thats the focus of the main leads? bl means gay regardless of age. BL is not a negative or immature genre. If we have two older women in a serious GL it would still be GL. BL is just a genre that covers the whole spectrum of gay romance.
I absolutely adore this drama! Waradet is so cute and flustered all the time, big strong kosol is very tolerant and caring towards her even after her personality changed after the poisoning.
