Im interested in this because of cheng xiao but i also want to enjoy it so a couple of questions if you do answer please do so vaguely for spoilers. Is there a love triangle if yes how bad is it, is the main lead strong/powerful or is he weak and gets beat up by the bad guys often

Guys this is for people that are reluctant to watch because of the ratings, watch it, must watch for fans of horror/suspense and relationship building. All in all i really have no clue why people rate it so bad must have terrible taste.

And until FL gets together with ML how much do they push her onto the sml ? Like are there hugs/kisses ? Unnecessary stuff like that or is it just ML and FL, not sure if you have seen ashes of love but i definitely dont want to watch a love triangle like that ever again.

Very surprised seeing as youve watched 600+ shows id say wuxia with an overwhelmingly powerful ML are my favorite, but yeah k feel really bad when i drop a show and always try to push myself to finish, but in this case i felt even more bad because i really like the actors, xu kai easily became my favorite chinese actor and bai lu took first place over yang mi for me, I'm also considering watching arsenal military academy but i can't do love triangles so im putting it off

Well the actors are very good and their chemistry is amazing and up to episode 40 id say its decent but after that it falls off massively. What do you mean btw is it your first chinese drama or?

Like how are you going to give the audience 2 characters that have been through so freaking much and before they get married to give us the viewers a happy scene,you just ruin everything, not only that but you also make jiang wu a spirit like not even a real person strong enough to man handle the demon king like what? Man what a ruined show. This on episode 41 btw and im not going to sit through 10+ episodes of Jiang wu having his way with zhao yao

After watching ancient love poetry im looking to watch more of xu kai dramas, im looking into trying this but i do have some ticks/small stuff i want my series to have, if someone can reply in spoilers, would appreciate it. First does the female lead come back to life/get back in her body, and secondly is the ML a badass and really strong?

I assume Bai jue has a good reason for turning "bad" too right? And its a hood ending for our leads.

I just finished episode 16 and oh boy, so i guess the series starts now and up to this point it was a prequel of some sorts, i just want a small spoiler do they get their memories back and their power? Especially bai jue he is my favorite character and he is a badass.

Edit:i just finished episode 23 and im so confused is he bai jue or is he not why did he suddenly remember everything and then he forgot it all again. I hope the show answers soon.

So i just finished episode 13 and i really enjoy the drama so far, i made a small mistake and decided to go back and watch the trailer which spoiled/confused me alot, usually i dont mind spoilers but i found my self dropping series/getting bored often and im not sure if its because of spoilers but i wanna try to stop getting myself spoiled on "big stuff" so at the end of episode 13 everything is well between shangu and bai jue progressing their relationship steadily, but trailer showed bai jue wearing black robes "marrying someone else WTF BY THE WAY" and saying instead of 1000 years shangu was in nether world for 60.000 ? Like what? If minor spoilers i wanna know how far untill i find out more in the series, and also i assume not please but is there a love triangle?.

Oh boy i need some insight im only on episode 13 but i will post another comment with with spoilers on for other people
