I just finished this, well lets just say that it was good but it really does need the 2nd season fast.. stopped quite abruptly. Also i had this feeling for the first time in watching dramas.. usually I hate absolutely despise love triangles and im always on the side of ML/FL, but for the first time ever i could not decide who I really shipped fan xiao with.. but if I really had to pick at this point Duo Duo the saintess has easily won my heart.
Overall good series but rant in spoilers. Big spoilers btw on the series and ending.
Very disappointed in the ending.. i get it is semi satisfying but a lot of directors go with the same over used "Have a kind very good ML and then throw everything at his poor soul until he breaks" and when they don't break they kill him off at the end for everyone to leave happily with the exception of the ML and the FL ofc.. like what happened to the generals his father led? They gave them a single scene and everyone spoke of how they would come to Hwis aid and they didnt even make an appearance? You have an obvious happy ending there yet nothing.. it felt ao rushed from episode 14 onwards..

I mean i won't answer because i would have to explain and I won't, since you are hell bent on your point. You should watch it a second time I really feel like you didn't pay attention.
I really hope the drama goes the same direction and doesn't get "lighthearted" towards the end, I obviously hope that they also finish strong and won't mess it up, So far on the Half way mark this Drama is insanely good. One of the best for this year easily.
To people hesitant to watch this ---> if you don't like brutal scenes and blood stay away, If you don't mind that and you Love thriller,suspense and Literally some of the best Action scenes ever watch it.

Je yi was part of The NIS information branch.. it was explained in the beginning im not sure if you didn't catch that but she does still have access as it has shown time and time again.. she also has friends in that same branch since she used to work there which means getting information is nothing for her, i dont see how that part confuses you.
to regarding Je yi being watched. except Kang pil ho who actually wants to catch jin hyuk, everyone else wants to stay out of it. as the deputy director ordered she doesnt want to interfere and wait till jin hyuk deals with his problems. lastly remember that jin hyuk is considered COLD and inconsiderate of his partners/colleagues so noone would suspect that he isnt like that so noone thinks that he might be colluding with Je yi..
They have a past together. 100%. If not, she would not dare talk to him that way.
its more likely that because they were on the same team they had secret affection for one another and she still had has those feelings even when she had a fiance, he likes her too thats why he doesnt retaliate when she bullies him
All i care about is the main leads and the plot, i rly hate it when theres a SML or a SFL being pushed on the main leads for no reason.. like being clingy and stuff
