Haha Lola? Just wait it gets even better!
Dexter's an interesting character, I think that's what makes the show so original.
And ohh I agree! The score for it's perfect. The one they play towards the end of every episode is my favorite (I think it might be the creepy one haha). I was hooked from the first episode. And his monologues are hilarious because he's so serious about his thoughts and lack of empathy for others. You're making me want to start that last season! Haha

I think I remember you raving about it to me before. And that does keep it interesting (:
Haha you will definitely be in trouble, trust me! You can't finish season 4 without needing to start episode 5, I will warn you of this right now. You'll need to keep watching, it's intense!
Hahaha that scene made me laugh! Where are you at now? I still have to watch the final season.

I like that take on it, too! It keeps it original, and then if the author goes back to the original narrator it's like getting reacquainted with an old friend (:
I never read anything by her, but that's sweet her children are allowed to write books continuing her stories.
And Omens? It's Kelley Armstrong's latest series and that book just came out in August. It's not bad so far, this first book was a lot more of a mystery/detective type novel than paranormal. But the next book I think is going to be really good cuz all of these secrets should start to unravel, so right now I'm hoping it goes in that direction haha.
And I see you started Dexter!! How do you like it so far??? I still have to watch the final season, I think my friend forgot so I'm just going to watch it online haha.

Exactly! Haha. And that's a good way to do a series (haven't read that one)! But it needs to be mixed up. Even if you want to do a continuous series but with the same world. It's always exciting running into old characters later on (placing the connection is the fun part), but you have to keep it different and add spice to it. If you want to use the same characters over and over again, keep it to a trilogy. If you go longer, it better get more exciting with each book. Haha. And not every author has that talent. I've read series that start to fall apart because it feels like nothing happened in the following book :/
Hahaha maybe that is it :p
And ohh I see, hopefully they did improve it later!!

I completely agree! The characters should stay mostly true to the book (if not exactly!)
Haha that's true! There are some series that really should end. Honestly, if you hit 20 books you should reconsider ending it already hahaha. Especially if it's with the same main character. At least with TWOTO (the women of the otherworld) series there were different main characters that all tied into each other. It leads up to this epic finale and that's the kind of thing authors should aim for (and side stories with the characters you love for those die hard fans). Not a never ending series haha.
Haha that might work, but I might wind up skipping a lot! It feels like cheating xD
And that sounds really fun! We never had anything like that at my school. That sucks it turned into such a mess for your team, it sounds like it could've been a lot better under different circumstances!

I tried reading Lord of the Rings a few times but I couldn't get more than 50 pages in because I was just honestly bored haha. I know that sounds awful and I know the books are great and all, but I think it's the writing style - too much description to keep my attention.
What was Battle of the Books? Haha

Yay! Haha
And ooh I actually saw the movie for Cirque Du Freak, although I started reading the books sometime when the trailer came out. The movie wasn't bad, but like you pointed out - very different from the book. Why can't they just make a movie exactly like a book? I know there's all that copyright BS and people watch the movie for new things but some of us would like what happened in the book to be exactly what happens in the movie. Is that so hard? Haha
Ohh I know what you mean! I hate saying goodbye, too, I had such a hard time when I got close to the end of The Women of the Otherworld series. I just didn't want it to end (despite the 13 book series haha). But she does leave it with a hint for more to come, so I was torn between sad and happy haha. No more books, but more stories with the characters in the future - I'll take it!
And it is a stupid character limit >__<

Haha I've had bad timings, too :p But yeah that's probably why, if you'd manage to finish the book you'd be wanting to pull your hair out over that movie. Especially with the dragon (Saphira) growing up in 10 seconds. It was months in the book. And Arya has black hair with pointed ears in the book. They gave her red hair and human ears in the movie (they couldn't get a wig and some fake elf ears?). It was just a huge disappointment because the books are written so well! I never could get into reading The Lord of the Rings because it honestly bored me, Eragon (Inheritance series, technically), was written really well by someone who was only 17 at the time. Really great fantasy series. Hopefully someday you can get around to finishing it xD haha

Hahaha me too! I read it so many times in Elementary school then finally bought it over the summer and read it again. It was my favorite childhood book (: The movie was a disappointment, but it was still cute for a kids movie. Just nothing like the book and they made it more kiddish and funny.
