" And since I seriously doubt you know CFY personally and were privy to his private life you are also reading and/or listening to this same media for your information. The fact remains that the general consensus everywhere or almost everywhere is that the average John or Jane can enjoy privacy in their lives away from work and not have to deal with their personal lives being splashed all over the media for the gossipmongers to give their opinions about so why is it that celebrities can't enjoy the same privilege and instead have their every move scrutinized and criticized by people who call themselves their fans... oh wait, make that fan(atic)s... you know, the delusional netizens who believe that a celebrity's life belongs to them. There is not a soul who has ever lived who could honestly say they've done nothing in their lives to be embarrassed about or that they regret. The difference is that most of us aren't ostracised and/or threatened with the destruction of our lives and careers. We see news reports far too often about an idolized actor or singer being harassed online to the point where they get depressed and take their own lives. That makes a lot of netizens no better than stalkers... not sure how they feel about stalkers over there in China but here and in most other countries I've read about or had the pleasure of visiting so far it IS a crime.

So are you saying that anyone in China who has sex before marriage or a relationship not sanctioned by the arranged marriage regime they practice there... at least among the upper crust classes, if not among the ordinary citizens... should be put to death? Isn't that an archaic way of thinking or just your own? Oh wait this death sentence would be only for celebrities the fans fantasize about and don't want to see in a normal relationship unless it's the one in their own imagination and not for the common everyday people... is that it? I can't believe that would be a general consensus among everyone... only the fool fan(atic)s whose delusions make them believe that these handsome and celebrated entertainers (actors, singers, etc) belong to them body and soul. News flash... people are not and can not be owned by other people. Get a a grip and start thinking of these celebrities as human beings with the same hopes and fears , feelings and desires as you or anyone else might have.

He's definitely one of my favourites. And I totally agree... he's a great actor (I've loved everything he's been in) and I also love his voice! Yes, it is disgusting how agencies treat the clients whose talents are making them money. They get greedy and want a bigger piece of the pie? They take as huge cut of the performer's payments for their work and then take the royalties as well? Dreadful! The labor laws really need an overhaul... big time!!

I first saw him in Shining Inheritance and have watched many others with him since... Korean Odyssey, Vagabond, King 2 Hearts, You're All Surrounded to name a few (in fact, I've seen most of the dramas listed for him on My Drama List... he is an amazing actor!)

I was so infuriated hearing that b**ch's tirade as if it wasn't her in the wrong! Unbelievable how criminals paint themselves as victims! Hearing Lee Seung Gi in tears broke my heart and. He doesn't deserve to be treated like this. In fact, no Korean entertainment artist deserves the way they're treated. LSI was out and out robbed of his earnings that he worked so hard for... it is my guess that this or a similar situation pertains to most Korean entertainers when their agencies are unscrupulous and greedy to line their own pockets and use these talented people to fund their personal interests. These agencies need to remember that without the talent they would be nothing and that their clients are their bread and butter. While I won't claim that this abuse of the talents by agencies, managers, etc does not happen here in No. America it is certainly not as rampant as it appears to be in South Korea. They need to update their labour laws and practices.

Apparently LSG hasn't received payment for his music for the past 5 years from his agency. I'm going to guess that by 'payment' they mean royalties because I'm sure if he wasn't getting paid for his actual performances it wouldn't have taken 5 years to come to light. It seems the CEO of his agency Hook Entertainment diverted the money that should have been paid to LSG to her own pocket for her own interests. Now she's apologizing and saying she will dispose of her personal property and pay him the money he should have received. IMO she should be fired for embezzling from the agency clients in addition to having to pay those clients back every dime she took from them!

Oh yes... please!!! Miss watching him.
