I actually liked him before because of his soft looks. But lately, I just don't feel good about him. He has some of the worst fans who disrespect other actors. It creeps me out how normal it seems for them to badmouth others. It shows what kind of people he attracts. It's uncomfortable to like him now.

Someone disrespected viewers who watch this drama for actors other than her favorite and thought she could just get away with it easily. After ep 4, the father's immaturity becomes more evident - he gets so clingy to his wife and still not care about his daughter who has sacrificed a lot in his absence.
Ji Jin Hee and Kim Ji Soo have been around for decades, so their acting should be better than the rookies, yet not quite as excellent as you claim , at least in this drama. There are even scenes where their acting seems over-the-top.
I guess someone just needs to be respectful so this comment section does not get any weirder.

You really think it's appropriate for a father to not even understand the daughter's feelings and work hard to be forgiven, and instead even compete with her for the mother's attention? In what circumstances do you think is that mature for a parent? What more details and excuses can justify that? It's just simply common sense to strive to be forgiven first and sacrifice a bit before chasing after whatever he needs for himself. Don't parents usually put their kids first before themselves? It just goes on to show he still has not learned to be a good father.

Forgiveness is given to those who work hard for it, just like everything else we strive to value in life. Certainly, disregarding the daughter's feelings is not really asking for forgiveness, is it? Has he even realized how much pain he put his daughter through? He just goes around doing what makes him happy.

Sorry, it just doesn't sit well with me how people seem to easily forgive and side with someone who has wealth and charming appearance. It's unfair to those who have been deeply hurt by his actions. And this drama seems to be just going all cute about it.

The daughter has devoted her life to her mother and childish brother and has taken the huge responsibility of taking care of the family in the absence of his irresponsible father for over a decade. Then one day the father comes back and romances his way back to the wife, not respecting his daughter's feelings. Can't the father at least have the decency to make amends with the daughter first and show how remorseful he is, before he goes on acting like a teenager in love.

There is no justification as well for the father to keep hurting the daughter. What kind of father is that! Prioritizing romance with wife over being a good father to his children is so disgusting!!! Sorry, I just can't stand irresponsible parents much more a father who can't sacrifice a bit for his kids.
In terms of acting, of course the older actors should at least act satisfactorily given that they have been around for decades, but it's not quite as excellent as you claim. In fact, this project is a convenient safe drama for them, not even showcasing some powerful acting that many excellent actors strive to achieve.

I wouldn't call him deadbeat, but rather irresponsible. His actions led to a point where his family forced him to leave, and then he just left knowing how difficult it would be for his family to face the repercussions of his failures.

Can't believe Ji Jin Hee has a fan like you. You're very disrespectful. What fact? That this show is all Ji Jin Hee and everybody else involved in this project is just mere support and has to take every step to make sure he alone shines? You're delusional to think so. A lot of people - actors, writers, crew, etc -- worked on this. To claim that this is a Ji Jin Hee drama all to himself is ridiculous and bashing other actors is certainly not helping your cause.

She's not a bot. Believe me. She's a fanatic who goes around disrespecting other actors who she thinks steal the spotlight from Ji Jin Hee.

You can't attribute a project to just one actor! It's disrespectful to the other actors and the crew who put so much work and time into this, perhaps even more than Ji Jin Hee did. To claim that a success of a drama is due to one actor is just ridiculous! I think that, in fact, it's the writing, the directing and editing (and perhaps the fame of the younger actors ) that gave this drama better ratings.
