Jom said he already likes yai but there really wan't much development to show how?I dont think 1 or 2 close encounters…
You should read the novel to better understand his love for Jom.
Actually, in the novel, Jom transmigrated again in 1800s (the time before he met Khun Yai). In the 1800s, he met General Yai (Khun Yain in 1920s) and they fell in love with each other again.
Technically Khun Yai saying that he liked Jom the first time he saw him in the river is not questionable. This was General Yai's promise to love him forever in every life. Ever since Khun Yai was born in the 1920s, there is already a voice in his heart that keeps saying that he must wait and see the love of his life. That is why the first time he sees Jom, his heart beats fast and he can't control his emotions in liking and eventually loving Jom.
I guess if you watch Until We Meet Again, you could understand what I mean, as I think they have some similarities as they are both waiting for their love in their second life.
I like the series. It was fun and full of romance, sweetness, and happiness.
It was just so sad to know, that the author of this adopted novel was sentenced to more than 10 years of imprisonment just because of writing homoerotic books. Although, there are some erotic scenes but it was just subtle compared to other writers. I felt sorry for Lu Tianyi. Anyway, this novel "Don't You Like Me" is so good. So glad, to watch "Stay by my side", both of them are good.
I also think they might cover that part but on the trailer there was another conflict regarding the gl couple…
Huhu me too, I like Khun Yain in the 1920.
Although I also like the second time travel, it would be better if they did not rush all the first travel scenes. I'm afraid it will only mess up if they rush everything just to include the second travel. It will be much more thrilling and exciting if they only cover and modify the first travel as we never know what will happen next.
In more honesty, I would like them to stay in 1920s as I am in love with Khun Yai. He is the dream man I could ever wish for. Such a gem personality and character.
The next episode is my favorite part of the novel. Khun Yai will confess his love to Jom. Then after that, they will have their first experience of lovemaking. Gosh, I'm so excited, how are they gonna pull that off?
Huhu, and after that is the most traumatic moment of Khun Yain in the 1920s. While they are enjoying their moments at the perfect vestige of the rubber trees, Jom will travel to another era which is in the 1800s. Khun Yai in 1920 will be left behind, hoping and waiting for Jom until he grows old and dies.
In 1800's, Jom will see another version of Khun Yai. If Khun Yai in 1920 is sweet, caring, polite, kind, and proper, Khun Yai in the 1800s is very strong, bold, firm, strict, and very brave. Khun Yai in 1800s is a general. His brother in 1800s is Ohm. At the very beginning, Khun Yai is very strict and has bad treatment to Pho Jom, but after Jom confesses when he is drunk, Khun Yai starts to melt down. The rest is my favorite scene.
While viewing this series, I initially thought they would not cover the second time travel and they would continue and only modify the 1st time travel. But it is still Episodes 6 of 12, and it was nearly the end of the first travel, so maybe, they will cover the second time travel. After all, at the very beginning, they show General Yai when Jom was drowning. The picture above would have never been posted if they did not include the second travel.
Whether they cover it or not, I just hope that the ending will be very good and happy just like on the novel. Hehe, I can't wait for the next episode.
I'm so engaged in this I binge watched it in a day. But I have some thoughts, with how Jom traveled back to the…
Yes, in the novel they bothe end up with each other. Poh Jom will travel another time era where Khun Yai and Ohm are brothers and they are both generals. The second time travel is earlier than 1920s.
In the ending Jom will go back to his real time and Khun Yai will get reincarnated and then they end up together.
