I see people in the comments saying "age gap" , for me this isn't " age gap", It is a MINOR WITH An ADULT,a 27 yr old man at that! with a 15 yr old kid, 12 years gap ,,,.jeez If it was a 20yo and a 32 yo ,I wouldn't mind much ...I'm having a prob with this pairing given the nature of the novel they are adapting ,or they intent to censor it and strip it of everything that makes " Addicted heroine " , addicted heroine
:moonchicken: Moonlight Chicken 7h Yeah, this is 100% gonna have a sad ending. Like there's not even a chance that it'll be happy or reciprocated or whatever. Any time gay stuff breaks into a homophobic mainstream, the only way it's allowed is through misery tourism. Conservative societies hate to see gay romance, but they love a gay tragedy. It's like the "no homo" of diversity themes. So brave for making it gay! So realistic for making it sad!
Regardless, this is the first step to normalizing queer content in the Korean mainstream. It isn't a worthless effort, it's just so reflective of the early (and at times current) western trends that I'm a little bitter. Still, glad we're taking that step at all.
Do u even know the meaning of overrated? It's not even overrated . And let's be fair no one said its better than…
I liked it too. And by overrated (yes I know the meaning) I didn't mean it's bad or anything , I was just COMPARING it with other kbls on here based on their RATINGS. For example, semantic error and 8th sense have a score of 8.2 ,this has a score of 8.3 ,so my argument was ; by looking at the ratings ,does that mean this show is better than the other 2? Or were the other 2 shows just (unfairly )lowly rated?
