Yeah absolutely 💯. I had forgotten "Topform" I'm enjoying it a lot . The script and directing is great .
But now I'm just worried when we will have another good Thai bl worth watching,after having this one.😅

Thing with Thai bls/gmmtv is the permanent Paired actors,the ships.
So when people like a ship ,even when the show/script/directing/acting is crap( and imo 90% of the dramas they pump out are not worth watching ) fans of esp those shipped actors will still rate the drama high just because they like the actors .
And as much I'm grateful for Thailand in producing a lot of queer content compared to the rest of the world, the quality is not really there. I'd say out of 5 new dramas released every month,only 1 could be really worth watching. It is Quantity over quality when it should be the opposite.
And when it comes to gmmtv idek what to say. They are really not trying at all in production quality,the scripts are crap of late and some of their actors haven't improved their craft in a long time. And how can they? I believe acting is something that is improved on , developed as an actor acts in many dramas but also acting across the same partner over and over again ,I don't think helps in improving in areas where one might be weak. And with the fans of the ships being so toxic if you as much as point out or offer constructive criticism just cause they are their faves ,the company and the artists won't improve and will keep pumping out crap month after month.
Right now the only Thai bl I'm looking forward to,is "The next prince" fingers crossed it is as good as it seems in the trailer.

So I've rambled on ,but to answer your question for low kbl/jbl ratings on here, could be due to lack of Paired ships in kbl and jbl. Some people want things to fixate on ,and they just don't like new faces .
I find it ridiculous really. I watch a drama ,bl or not, because of the plot/storyline first and foremost ,not because of who is in it. But that's just me.

He must have been wondering what he did wrong or as he asked min jun" Did he even like him?"
I believe the Min jun of now has grown up both in character and self worth ,but the Min jun 8 yrs ago had a sort of low self esteem/ introverted/ trouble communicating with others and this instead of confronting Jin Hwan he chose the easy and imo a cowards way out; jumping to conclusions and ghosting.

7.4 is too low for this drama ,at least 8.0 would be great.

I'm not a fan of this pacing. I don't like dramas (bl or not) where it's dragging to a confession 95% of the whole show ,then confession at the last episode and then it ends.
Imo it should be balanced if it's 10 eps ,first 5eps building,development and realization of their feelings then the last 5/4 eps should be when they are dating. Like I want to see them do things as a couple; shopping together, visiting places together, eating/ cooking together,even holding hands and hugging and kissing and making out (not a must) if possible. I want to see their lovey dovey phase please 🥺.
Now only 3 eps remaining here ,and I'm afraid it will be rushed

Why do s.korea directors/producers "adapt" BL manhwas and then turn them straight?? Like why?? Is it just out of spite?is it homophobia? Has it got anything to do with the investment and profit?
Same thing happened in 'i a gangster became a highschooler' where they completely erased the bl element and the show was just a Bromance.
Now here Heesu is a side character in his own show,and the 2nd gay couple in the manhwas was completely erased and replaced by a generic straight plotline.
There's been arguments on here that bl alone isn't profitable,it must have a straighten plotline incorporated to balance things out or made to Bromance to attract both bl fans and non bl fans. But then I ask myself,if as a director/ producer making bls won't be as profitable as making straight kdramas,then why do they bother to do something that won't bring them as much financial benefit as straight kdramas? I mean just adapt the millions of straight kdrama manhwas out there and make as much profit as you think you deserve instead of coming for "non profitable BL manhwas". Like I don't understand their thought process?
Like what do they really want? Unless someone is forcing them to adapt these bl manhwas that they keep butchering ?
