I've been following this story for the past 24hours and one word to describe how I'm feeling is: Despair. I feel Hopeless and Helpless at the same time. At first I was Soo angry as I got to know more information,then disgusted! And now just despair that Nothing is going to change or happen to him or men like him. Men with money and power and influence and connections that rape,abuse(mentally and emotionally and physically),threaten , groom, blackmail,murder/drive women and children to their death. I feel despair that even after doing all this ;they go about their daily lives as if nothing had happened! I mean how cruel can we as humans be !?? KSH groomed that little girl from when she was 14/15 yo,they "dated" till she was 20 ( I guess he felt she was too old for her now ,no longer a child) and then dumped her. Then he denies saying they were just friends or senior/junior r/ship. But what infuriates me is:predator or senior to her -why didn't you even attend her funeral? Not even sending a flower wreath. That poor girl Killed herself on your birthday,now in his twisted psychopathic mind I'm sure he knew she was sending him a message a last dying wish. How truly cruel. I'm 24 yo woman same age KSR left this world ,and I just can't imagine my life being cut off by a scambag and basically he took away half her life before it even started. But among my despair,I found a little bit of HOPE and a flash of light in this dark and male centered society that preys on women. The public/audience/ people. These celebrities/ actors/idols gain their money and status because of US. You and I give them the power. When we watch their kdramas/movies,when we follow them on insta/twitter/TikTok,when we buy the products their brands endorse,when we make posts or thirst edits of them ,when we vote for them in awards,when we sent them gifts on their b.days or randomly,when we tune in to their lives,when we buy tickets to their fan meets or concerts etc... We give them that status and money and hence the influence to do whatever the fuck they want to other people(mostly women) and get away with it. So I was thinking,we can do something about it. The south Korea society and justice system maybe be fucked but as kdrama are popular internationally now ,We can boycott him.:start by unfollowing his insta/socials( brands mostly look at the sm followers when giving endorsements, few followers or losing them and no brands would want to come near him, stop watching his shows ,stop shipping him with his co stars which he just uses them for clout and dumps them when it no longer benefits him, send emails or comment unders brands that sponsor him e.g Prada or Disney pluskr and threaten to stop buying their products if he's the face of their brand. As a public figure, public image matters to him. Once he loses that good public image ,he loses the money. I know he's already rich ,but we can still stop him from adding more and reduce his influence. Right now he co owns Gold medalist agency,with actors barely 20 yo under him, teenagers and little girls to be groomed , raped and sexually assaulted then thrown away when he no longer needs them and the cycle continues. Anyway ,my point is to those of us who are sane and still have a sense of moral discipline,and I'm willing to bet most of us here are women (young or older),we can do something about this;no matter how small it is ;massive unfollowing! And if you are a woman on here defending this narcissistic arrogant pedophile piece of shit ,I hope what happened to that poor girl happens to YOU! Really liked this. Good acting,great shots,good writing and pacing. Just a tiny complain is; I would have wished to an extra episode to have a glimpse in their life together. I know it's a happy ending,but I'd like to see that happy ending after a little 😊
