I never claimed Koyama was a good choice for Hira. In fact, I said he's a good friend to him. And I think Koyama's brother just assumed Hira is his brother's bf just cuz he took him to the cafe on his bday. If anyone, Hira didn't clarify cuz Koyama's brother mentioned about him being his brother's bf only when Hira was present, and not Koyama.
I don't think Koyama and Hira would have become bfs cuz- Koyama didn't even know Hira liked boys until that "accidental" reveal. Yes, neither of our mains have grown as characters lmao, but I'm seeing some spark from Kiyoi hopefully after his storming off last ep.

I totally agree about how Hira can’t stop how he feels for Kiyoi. It's pretty realistic in all honesty. But I have to disagree that Hira is bad at communication just cuz he never reached out to Kiyoi after the kiss, cuz if you think about it, it makes sense. The person you crush on kissed you all of a sudden then pushed you and walked away saying goodbye, acting indifferent. From Hira's perspective, all those actions seem like Kiyoi just kissed as a favor cuz it was their last time together, and that kiss seemed disgusting to him and hence he regretted it and pushed him away. And Hira might have been hurt enough from that encounter to not want to contact Kiyoi again cuz he might feel embarrassed about the kiss.

Anyway, I LOVE Addicted. That's why I never mentioned it in my earlier comment. I've read both the books and LOVE them as well! If you observe Gu Hai's gf, you'll see that she's pretty tomboy-ish, and that's why it was a pass for me when we found out that he was crushing on Bai Lou Yin, even in the book actually. But, Bai Lou Yin falling for a guy, now that I can say was a bit meh cuz his gf was pretty and beautiful. The total opposite of Gu Hai's gf. Now I just wish Advanced Bravely was actually brought on the screen as the freaking bl it waswritten as instead of the bromance we got! cuz I loved the book! The last ending chapters can burn in hell for all I care cuz no idea what happened there lmao. Oxygen in my opinion was nice too. Got a bit boring, but we can look over that cuz the source material is just so gorgeous!

I don't know on what basis you say Koyama is the "worst" choice for Hira, cuz on the contrary, he helped him feel secure during their introduction in the club, has always been there for him as a friend, and has always had a big smile around Hira, making sure whatever he does, doesn't make him feel bad...and trust me when I say, a smile has the power to lift some pretty bad depressing thoughts a person may have, and I do believe it was cuz of him that Hira had tried to move on from Kiyoi cuz we did see a scene where he said he was finally moving on from him, growing and building relationships, and Kiyoi just "swept" everything away "just like that".

The eraser one is Kieta Hatsukoi. Honestly, every History series is excellent, exceptional, and beautifully executed. I keep going back to History Right or Wrong, Trapped, and Obsessed so much! And even Be Loved in House I Do was excellent! For japanese bls, I too love Pornographer, but check our Cherry Magic. Its just so heartwarming and beautiful! Most people might like Kioyoi mow cuz maybe they never tried thinking from his perspective in the first place since ep 1. I'd imagined a gazillion scerenios, and what was shown in ep 5 was exactly what I'd thought of initially. The reason I don’t like the mains is cuz Kioyoi, even thought he tried to get Hira to come out of his comfort zone in his strange way, was always rude and mean to him directly, calling him gross and disgusting (mind you, I always wondered if those words were directed at himself rather than Hira), and he didn’t mind when his friend circle used him as well. I got that he liked him and just to be close to him, did all that, but his actioms are still inexcusable. When i saw Koyama in the intro of the second ep, I kid you not when I say I immediately started rooting for them just cuz he was smiling and happy with Hira! And you can't say that both of them are bad at communication. Its just Kiyoi who is. He always blurted out rude words without thinking twice that Hira wouod think those words wee directed at him rather than at Kiyoi himself cuz who would self-deprecate themselves hunh?!
