Kinda...yes and no I would say. I'm talking about the actors themselves playing the stereotypical opposite roles as to their previous roles. As in, K'Up was the "bottom" in LW, and is the "top" in MSI right, so I'm saying is I'd love for him to play "bottom" again.

Watching actors play opposite roles or different characters feels good if the characters behave differently from their other roles. Like, K'Gene was timid, while K'Ming was a complete asswhole.

Since the audiemce LOVES ships, and usually do not respond positively if the actors change ships, I'd at least like for this type of switchup is what I'm getting at

The show isnt that bad if you watch it at 2x speed, and forward all the "fanservice" scenes, which i gotta admit, are painfully a lot. The underlying plot is interesting, and solid, but the execution is downright abysmal.
And i am firmly of the belief that the director does not like K'Lingling cuz bruh. We all know she can act, but what the hell is the direction she is being given!!! Every single scene of K'Tawan is her just having a strange smiling-stoic face, or a happy face.

And clearly, cleary, the director watched TSOU and decided K'Orn is a good crier, and decided to have her cry in almost every single ep! And what is the need to portray a whole ass grown woman like a child throwing temper tantrums! Like escuse me! Those scenes of K'Ayla were absolutely cringe, i forwarded most of them

Basically what im trying to say is, the show is good when you are exhausted from your day and just wanna watch something without using your brain too much lol

Watched ep 11 just now, and i really wish we had more PLOT than filler!

We all know filler episodes, but this show goes out of its way to have "filler scenes" in EVERY EPISODE like????????

I can get behind this too, but that switch up would have KILLED me! I remember K'Up in a lipbalm add against K'First, and ever since I've wanted to see him in a uni setting, not necessarily a stident, but a faculty as well! Just🤌🏻
And i reeeeeaaallllyy want this pair to switch roles if they are a cp here to stay! The spice and flavour it would bring!

This show needs so much more recognition!!! I'M GENUINELY IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW! The writing, the cinematography, the SCRIPT! and of course the acting! and the soundtrack!
Hang-on as I cry my heart out such shows are rare gems once in a year or two!

Stuck around for the flashback/previous life story, and loved it. The present day plot was bland at best. It was interesting till the cause of death was revealed, then just got too boring. Finished this very very slowly, like as in watched ep 1 and 2 while it aired, and watched the rest in the span of 4 months!
Rewatch value only for the flashback scenes lol. I'd absolutely love to see these women play a period drama!

Idk why, but this one and Reset took me back to my high-school days when I'd watch Sotus, LS, History. I really like this bl. It was simple, not too complicated, and overall, a fun experience. Genuinely thankful i wasnt bombarded with NC scenes. They used to be so precious, and now NC scenes have become so ingrained into bls that one cant go 3 eps without it. NC scenes are supposed to be very important milestones, not just there for cashgrab, and I'm glad this didnt have them. Appreciated it that much more in the last ep when it finally did happen.

100% with you on everything you said! Im actually stunned and in Awe at how they managed to make Junta a Green flag🤣 and i do hope we dont get overloaded with NC scenes. Every now and then, its good. Especially if its creative and different😂 I'm really liking the changes as well, not getting annoyed with them too!
Junta vs Jin, I'd take Junta as a fictional red flag lovable character. But Jin through and through irl😂
Anime is just another level🤣

I'm absolutely loving this so far! Almost every other scene is taking me back to my teen years when I'd watched the anime!!! And I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY RECREATED THAT HONEY SCENE!!! Does that mean we could potentially get the BEACH SCENE!?! I will PASS AWAY if that happens! I remember dying of 2nd hand embarrassment when I'd watched it the first time (and then that scene became a guilty pleasure along with the classroom scene <:)
I have to say though, I really liked the changes they have made thus far. Like Jin not assaulting Akin, forcing a kiss onto him, and blackmailing him with the video. I need to go rewatch the anime once the show finishes lol! And why have all my school friends grown up!!! I can't even talk to them about this show cuz they aren't interested! We all LOVED this anime and the walking gigantic red flag named Junta haha. We might as well have been psychotic to enjoy the anime and manga as much as we did lmao

Also, I'd totally forgotten Junta distancing himself from Takato cuz he was sick, and I was telling Akin in my head the entire time not to confront Jin cuz he would eat him alive as he is just holding himself back with immeasurable self-control XD. I do wonder if we ever see Mr. horny angel though. I need his to call Jin that XD

I do believe that these "fans" are way too deluded in their own thinking, in the sense that they believe they are right, and do not "deserve" being "betrayed" by their beloved cps, cuz they cannot differentiate the person from the character, the artist and crew as individuals, and not people in the story.

About guessing who the person saving K'Joke was, I never paid attention to his pants at all! You my dear have excellent excellent attention to detail! I'd love to know your theories on why it could be Jack himself! I might have some idea, but not too sure if its the same as your thought process!
I did think that it could be Carbon's dad, or maybe even K'Aran's dad for that matter, or even Rose's dad!
If its gonna be an ex of his, I'm gonna break into hysterics, and thoroughly enjoy the show nonetheless!!!

Yes totally. If the ep count was higher, we could get a good resolution to the story, and as you said, Phu finding out in ep9 could be perfect if we had 12-16 eps.
I totally agree with your point about K'Jim's mind-reading! I'd hoped we'd get an explanation but alas! I'd assumed that his powers could even be connected with the parallel worlds existing cuz that's actually when he started getting interference in his mind when he went to visit the parallel universe's K'Cir from the audience's pov at least, and I really liked that they had him lose his ability to read minds once he confessed aloud, cuz the moment we saw him start approaching K'Wim, all I could think of was how their relationship would be, how would it progress, how could he ever be surprised with anythink K'Wim would do for him, and wouldn't it get awkward for him, and the fact that both of them would inevitably get hurt if he would have revealed to him about his powers and if he believed him then the entire debacle of him feeling like his privacy was compromised all the time? (hope I'm making sense...)

But now my question is that does his mind-reading not work simply on the person he loves, or is it that he's lost the ability altogether, like how Adachi loses his mind-reading after his 1st time with Kurosawa (Cherry magic)

Absolutely!
Can you imagine uwma having just 10 eps instead of the 17 eps we got! That show wouldn't have been as amazing and as iconic as it is!
I feel the story of this show is almost as complex as of uwma (or at least trying to be), and yet its just falling flat...

Totally agree about not having enough grieving time with Jack. I was just expecting Joke to just walk in to the scene every minute cuz why would weiters be balzy enough to kill off a main character and take the wrath and death-threats crazed mob of fans. So i was genuinely shocked when the credits rolled in, leaving me completely speechless and then having all the emotions wash over me! That message of learning to move-on is needed in the current world i feel
I would have totally loved the special even without the post-credits scene, but i can understand where the creators of the show are coming from. They want to sleep peacefully at night, and not have nightmares of some crazy "fans" trying to end them...thats why i like japanese bls more. They are rwalistic, at least giving us sensible and logical endings, not just fan-service the entire show
I do hope we get another season, or a mini series though, cuz ddaeng, we need answers now! Who is the scary fearful fellow who saved K'Joke!
