Yes, these kinds of people exist. You know what? If that person hadn't created multiple IDs to upvote his reviews, he wouldn't have deleted his review after I mentioned that I reported it to the MDL team.
Some top reviewers have been creating fake accounts to upvote their reviews. Just check this user's profile and other reviews, its clear how many fake IDs this person has created.
this year there was a Japanese BL Happy of The End very similar to a queer work
That show actually deserved more than an 8.5 rating but couldnt surpass that because it depicted harsh truths about gay relationships and Japan’s adult industry, which upset many BL fans, resulting in lower ratings. On the other hand, the films you are referring to deserved its low ratings due to its quality, while some high quality LGBTQ films like moster have ratings above 8.5.

Then how did Monster become such a big hit?
In happy of the end it showed some dark realities of the adult Japanese industry and gay relationships, which triggered many BL fans and led to lower ratings. Otherwise, it was a top tier LGBTQ+ drama which deserved more than 8.5 ratings.
Can you go the extra step and educate the readers of your post on what is the difference between a BL drama and…
BL/GLs will always comes under LGBTQ genre as it also portrays life of ppl from LGBTQ community but there will still be difference betn these 2 genres. Pure queer dramas will remain close to reality whereas BL/GLs will be idealised version of LGBTQ shows. For that you can blame to the origins of BL/Yaoi & GL/Yuri.

I know that drama actually falls under the queer genre, but it was promoted and labeled as a BL drama everywhere, which is why it received an 8.2 rating. I wonder if it had been promoted as an LGBTQ show, maybe it would have received higher ratings, like the movie Monster, which was an LGBTQ film.
Oh don't expect people to understand the difference between a bl and a queer movie easily .. I don't know why…
Even i also love BLs but i think ppl should know the difference betn these 2 genres. These 2 genres are completely different and LITBC was always promoted as queer drama so it should be treated as such instead of calling it BL.

Its very simple: Queer/LGBTQ shows mostly portray a realistic version of people from the community, highlighting their hardships, struggles, and the prejudices they face, often without any filter. In contrast, BL/GL shows tend to depict a more idealized, glossy version of gay and lesbian relationships. For example, in most Thai BLs, parents, society, and even friends often easily accept and support their gay son or friend and his relationships without much struggle. However, in this show, we see how Go Young's mother was so against his identity and relationships, only starting to accept him in the final stage of her life. Additionally, Go Young's second boyfriend has internalized homophobia due to societal pressure. This offers a more realistic take on LGBTQ people, instead of portraying everything as smooth and easy for them.
This drama falls under the queer/LGBTQ category rather than the BL genre so i hope people keep that in mind and stop referring to it as BL. The director never intended to make a BL but rather a mainstream queer genre drama. In this story, the protagonist goes through various ups and downs and has multiple relationships, something you rarely see in BL dramas. The protagonist also faces challenges that are common within the gay community in South Korea.
When people misunderstand genres, it can actually affect the ratings. I've seen dramas promoted as romcoms, but when they introduced melodrama or slice of life elements, the ratings started to drop. So, when people realize this is different from typical BL dramas, it might impact the ratings. That's why it should be referred to as a queer/LGBTQ show instead of BL.
This is one of the top queer/LGBTQ shows, while shows like 'Let's Free the Curse of Taekwondo' and 'Love for Love's Sake' are top quality KBLs.
Hey LeeYunnes, how about for once you stop hating on tvN dramas and just focus on your favorites? Didnt you get tired of uselessly hating tvN dramas on your X account?
You're the same hypocrite who spread lies about the QOT writer stealing the script of CLOY from her assistant writer without any solid evidence on QOT's MDL page and then shamelessly watched the whole show. What a piece of trash you are. Go get a life, man!!
Most of the emotional scenes were done by comedy and intense shouting. There is a better way for that. Dont blame…
Why dont you go and spread hate somewhere else, Miss LeeYunnes? The way i see it, your constant hate towards every tvN weekend drama is astonishing. Just go and get a life.
Whether its QOT, LND or any other popular tvN weekend drama, you always have to spread negativity from both your MDL and X accounts.
The main issue with this show is its WORLD BUILDING. The world building here is so poor that logic and laws are applied inconsistently, according to the writers convenience. This director's previous work, a movie called Brave Citizen also has same issue. It had a fantastic concept but the world building was shallow. It was amusing to see even the principal fearing the bully just because he was rich.
This show has a concept similar to The Devil Judge. However, in TDJ, the world building was excellent. The type of court and situations presented wouldnt be possible in real life South Korea, so the writer created a dystopian version of Korea with its own set of rules and laws, which remained consistent throughout. In contrast, this show is a fantasy crime legal drama but is set in the real world. The laws and logic of the real world still apply but they are used at the writer's convenience. For example, the rulings given by Kang Bitna are laughable, they don’t make sense. Additionally, why doesn’t she just go to prison to punish murderers? She could allow criminals to face justice through the law and then pursue them for her mission afterward. She could also easily target murderers already convicted and in prison. This inconsistency makes it feel like the writer is making up rules as they go. In The Devil Judge the conflict between Jinyoung’s character and Kang Yohan felt more believable. Both were human, had different perspectives and acted according to their roles. However, here, whatever Han Daon does comes across as completely foolish. He knows FL is a demon yet still wants to catch her. How can human laws apply to a demon? It’s basic logic, he should at least understand that.
The disease depression all these angles are just sad state of affairs Kdrama writers do to sell the couple. No…
Gurl, the og user hasnt even mentioned anything about Seokryu's glow up just two years after stomach cancer. You are just bringing up points for the sake of spreading hate. I have been seeing your posts for a while now, and you're only commenting to whine and spread negativity. Get a life, man.

People need to report these accounts, only then will genuine reviews get the attention they deserve.
