Kinda hate that Cinderella almost got assaulted and was drawn as the villain. It didn't seem to me that she purposely wanted to kill him. It looked like self defense. Though, her hiding and scheming to try to pin the murder on someone else was a turn off. I also kinda disliked the part where Remi (Prince's lover) was injured by Hans (stylist) and the Prince didn't say anything bad about Hans. Liked at least I would've been happy he's dead (but that's just me).
I could not with this drama ahaha >< like REPEATED AMNESIA and surviving bullets to the head
Also, it pains me how she said that she did not want him to lie to her , then moments later she has amnesia and guess what , HE LIES AGAIN. Kept fooling her so she can continue to love him. Kinda sick if you ask me. Wished he would've died by her hands.
Thank you sooooo much for posting this! It's been so long I'd be surprised if you remember the details but was…
I rewatched this just to answer your question but I don't think there was a time jump.
Because once she turned human, he went back to his house and it kinda looked like time just continued. (but he did leave her house at 10 pm and woke up 10am). I think they did this on purpose so he could go on about his day feeling different (since he became more extroverted) rather than him just waking up from a dream . Idk if that makes sense but that's my theory.
Also, I think they just weren't wearing masks because they were outside. And given that he was passing out masks in Episode 1 , mostly due to his phobia/trauma, it makes sense he wouldn't make such a big deal about it.
Unpopular opinion: Better friend: Sai > Si Better Story : first half of episodes > second half of episodes Best couple: Maria and Mamu > everyone else Best Man: Chaipong
Y'all can say what you like but I really enjoyed this movie. Yes, there's a lot of things going on but it's not done in a messy way. Everything had its purpose. It was so funny and I was feeling butterflies throughout the movie. 9/10
My only complaint are the kiss scenes (the kisses were too slow and awkward ), other than that it was a very well done drama. Some of the comments say that they dragged the story, but actually, the solution to their situation wasn't so simple. In order to come to a consensus, it was important for everyone's character development to see what they themselves truly desired to be happy before making the final decision on their relationships.
Honestly if you want a wild ride, this drama is for you. I will say the ending is an ending, even if it's not the best executed. If you are watching this for the romance, I will tell you one thing this is more about a love story than a romance (idk if that makes sense). But I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The acting was amazing . The leads had great chemistry.
Best advice is don't watch this in one sitting. You will be frustrated and left with a bitterness taste for the ending. If you give it a day in between every few episodes, it allows you to mourn/understand the perspective of what every character is feeling based on their backstory.
Not a bad watch if you are bored or interested to see a polyamorous relationship. But I will say, it is filled with insecure and jealous female leads that are kind of a turn off to a degree. So watch at your own risk, HOWEVER, I enjoyed certain parts of it and it was a good watch for me. I enjoyed their moments together and their background stories. Although they are insecure and jealous, I will say their womanhood tends to be strong at times. Like it's so refreshing to see how much they all love and care for each other.

Honestly, this is a drama to watch when you got nothing else to do because this needs your full afternoon. I genuinely enjoyed the drama. It is more on the mature end, so don't be surprised at the sexy scenes, but it is your typical obsessive love story with the element of yakuza.
My only complainant is that it could've been sexier with better mouth movements and hand placements but that's just me.
IKR, all those angst for the break up plot was really uncalled for. not only was this such a radical change from…
Yeah, the story was wild with all the deaths happening. I agree with the "doesn't even feel in-line with the character" statement cuz this could apply to almost everyone in the drama. I would've wished for it to have been character development but like you mentioned, it was only done for the sake of the plot.
Usually I'm against forbidden love scenarios because their chemistry does not match the sacrifice to be together BUT this drama definitely did. I think both Lee Jae Ha (ML) and Kim Hang Ah (FL) had good characters and reasons to be in love. The acting was so good and I definitely felt their chemistry and was hoped for them to have a happy ending.
It's definitely a good drama and the romance is *chef's kiss*. But looking at the overall picture, the first half…
Things I did not like: - Why was he CEO? To prove to FL that he could do what? Work? Read? Write? I guess it would've been awkward for him to continue working as a songwriter, but the option of him becoming a teacher was brought up so many times for me not to believe he couldn't have chosen that as his path. - He was crazy and controlling. - That piano song played during their romantic scenes gave me goosebumps. I really did not like it. Wished they would've put something lovey dovey or cute but that song sounds sad and creepy. Like when someone gets away with murder. - Did they really use the kids for the simple plot of both the characters wanting kids?? Cuz I thought they were going to adopt Xiao Wei at one point. Definitely disappointed. - What was the point in making her delusional about her friend? Was it only for the FL to move back with the ML??? Same thing with ML being revealed as Yi Jin in the end. Was it only for them both to go to the hospital? Like?? - The on and off love triangle. Like thankfully it was never really an issue between them. Like they weren't unloving each other bc of mixed feelings. Like people just loved them rather than the main leads feeling any romantic attraction towards someone else. It was confusing bc it felt so unnecessary bc they were just dropped. Why include them if they aren't even making that big of a difference. All they did was give the main leads jealousy or a headache. - Also why does every character pull a 360. The main leads. The girl in the band. The boy in the band. FL's mom. ML's dad.
It's definitely a good drama and the romance is *chef's kiss*. But looking at the overall picture, the first half was so good. Like my eyes were glued to the screen and I was feeling for the characters. But then after the time gap, there were so many fillers to help push for something to happen or just for the character to act or think a certain way. It was definitely a turnoff HOWEVER I didn't drop it (bc like I said, the romance was good). They had so much chemistry together that gave me butterflies. For this reason, if the director/screenwriter had ONLY focused on them and their character/background/personal development, it would've been a perfect drama for me. Both of them had so much to offer and us as audience to learn about them, but instead they used so much unnecessary fillers.
This felt more like enemies to friends not lovers.
BIGGER SPOILER I wished they could've communicated their romance and misunderstandings better. They definitely dragged it so much that I didn't even feel heartbroken the 3rd or 4th or 5th? time. I definitely thought she was joking when she broke up with him the final time.
In the last episode, they didn't even kiss at the end or say I love you. And when she went back to Korea, she looked super happy to see the director. And Kyungmin was happy to see Hyerun.

I loved Arisa's and Kyoko's stories better than the main leads.
