I thought I was the only one to not really like it.

I don't get with the plot. I like the beginning in medias res, but the whole story between Payu and Rain was weird to me.
Rain drools at Payu after the first moment he sees him, but when he's alone with him, he's almost horrified. I perfectly understand not wanting to kiss or have sex after their second meeting, but he dealt with the situation a little crazily.
And where did Payu get all that initiative? Probably (he didn't confirm anything) Rain has a crush on you, so? You throw yourself headlong like that on a bed?

Yes, music was incoherent. And at the beginning of part 3 (or it was part 2) I had to raise the volume cause the background music was much louder than the actor's voices -.-

I thought the editing with the black breaks and the reprise of some scenes was made for the classic youtube division in four parts (like the ones they do on GMMTV). It's strange though cause I had looked around YT if there was the episode and had found nothing, so idk what's the deal with it

I also had supsects that In and Wang's dad were a thing back then. That's probably why In moved abroad and tried to lose contacts

Back to 21 days, your analysis is on point and it's probably true, but I have another theory (which won't be true, but I think there's a small chance).
I was a little disappointed since Q seems to start falling for X just because he was saved by him, completely erasing that X was a jerk to him for the last couple of days. So I thought: what if Q is actually gay and knowing? The conversation between mum and uncle points in this direction. That would be pretty interesting and could cast a different light on the story. Since X is clearly flirting with him, adding this to X saving Q, it could explain why Q fell in love with X in just one night. And that's also why at the beginning, X wasn't that hyped for Mook - but it can be simply the fact he basically zoned out for everything that doesn't concern him.

I agree with you all. I just wanted to add that the bet - if I got it right - was about being chosen to accompany Mook to the event, not about getting together with her. So I don't see any toxicity at all, as you all said :)

Yes, translation - especially with pronouns and similar - is very tricky.

I realised the issue with 'you' when I started translating my fanfictions from Italian. Our singular 'tu', the plural 'voi' and the formal 'Lei' all translate into 'you'.

OMG I didn't know that 'you' is followed by 'are' because it was originally plural :o Thank you, it was a nice disclosure.

I start saying that I felt no offense by you and I hope you won't be offended by what I write. I'm just trying to share my personal point of view :)

To begin with, I didn't get the afterlife thing until I saw episode 1. In my language we don't have anything referred to cloud nine: we only use seventh sky - which means a total different thing LOL. But I still got it after watching episode 1.

Then, in the beginning of episode 2, we didn't have the continuation (which is soon understandable) but the real confusion came to me as Tiew forgot his wallet and then forgot about Mork, de facto reversing the situation from episode 1. That was the main thing that created confusion, at least to me. Without Tiew forgetting (faking to have forgotten?) Mork, things would have been better.

Anyway, I love the show independently from the confusion. And, as someone has already written down here, to grab the confusion and watch the journey as it unfolds is amazing and gives a sense of freedom.

Exactly. I felt confused but I liked it so much: this show has an ethereal vibe and gorgeous scenery. And I really like the idea that I can "open up and allow their minds freedom to be confused and to take that journey as it unfolds because in that journey they can find beauty and freedom." You've described it perfectly.

It's so disappointing! I basically started the show just for that scene :( and now we won't ever see it.

I liked it more until episode 6, the last two episodes feel somehow different from the rest.

Overall, I liked it, but I feel like Japanese BLs always stop 100m before the finish line. They do everything perfectly but when they need to close, they lack courage and the ending is softer than we expected. Not necessarily because of the non-kiss. Mr Unlucky, Old Fashion Cupcake, and now this... it looks like a pattern. (Don't misunderstand me: I love them, especially OFC, but still, I feel they needed a little more in the end).
