I liked this series. To much fighting scenes for my taste, but a truly compelling story. The end was a ball breaker with Sun speaking to Thon’s memorial .Thennnnn?.., Great cliffhanger ! Hoping for a season 2! Recommended!

You are probably right. I read the novel a while back. I dropped it towards the end because it becomes a little unhinged for my taste. But I remember it more balanced. It is what it is! Glad they have gotten this far!
Don’t misunderstand. I love this drama. But I’m becoming confused because it seems to be turning more into a comedy than a gray love and revenge oriented plot. I don’t feel that they have given true evolution and development to the feelings of Zi Yu’s character. Have they begun censoring this? It seems a little choppy to me…..
Her iron clad insistence that it’s not possible between them, gets on my nerves. Her dryness is a tad excessive. At least be kind. He’s going through hell. Not to mention they are still married. At least smile or look back, when you walk away. It’s getting a little dull. I find more intriguing the relationship between the wicked price and empress “Cruella”….He might have Mommy issues!😂
