I’m glad they addressed mental illness in an open and compassionate manner. This explained a lot about Lu Feng’s behavior from the beginning. I’m truly captivated by Aydens acting. The story was a compelling slice of life. I never understood the brother’s possessiveness. I wasn’t able to bond with their story very well. Overall it’s a gem of a series worth coming back to watch in a year or so. China did it again! 💫💫💫
They obviously need a time out, but not by leaving with his brother. Lu Feng unfortunately shows his unhealthy possessiveness by knowing their whereabouts and not telling Xi Chen.🤦♀️ Truly a heartfelt episode!
A charming drama. I did feel the story being a little unbalanced. I felt the SML character wasn’t properly developed. Almost a tragic character. I think that an actor of Jae Uck’s caliber should have shined more, with a better script. I also feel that the ML was not casted correctly. He had a boy next door and goody two shoes vibe that was totally not sexy at all. I found the SML assistant pathetic. Total cringe. Somehow she recovers from her obsession in the last episode and all was well. Like really? All actors did very well. I enjoyed it but would not watch it again.
I can’t believe we waited 2 years to see a series’s consisting of only 6 episodes. Good to see Bright again. Being a happy atheist and watching the end of the story at its beginning. I don’t hold much hope, for a happy ending. Hoping I’m wrong. But stories are meant to be told! Not sure I’m into this one.
When you think back to the beginning of the story, you realize that Lou Feng has been deeper in love. Ayden has done a great portrayal with his acting. Yi Chen comes across as a skittish participant all along. I don’t doubt his love for Lou Feng. But his character is weaker. Immature to a certain degree. I don’t doubt that Lou feels this. Feeding his anxiety and obsession. So I guess it’s a bumpy road ahead! Fasten your seat belts!😫
Unfortunately there’s many mothers out there, that feel the same. Also the continued insistence of having your children marry is insane. Regardless of gender.🤦♀️
The special episode was a softer closing for the series. They finally learned how to respect each other’s boundaries.Specially Fan Xiao. Permitting them to begin a new chapter with hope. Just the cherry 🍒 on top. Thank you to the production team and our actors! Hope to see them in other series soon!
I recommend it!
