I must say the ending reminded me a lot of the series’s, Shine.
Even though I liked the time jumps. I wish they would have been better fleshed out.
The letters, how long was he in jail. How was their life in general. But by the pictures at the end you can piece together part of the story culminating in a tender happy ending.
Which is a reality.
I myself have a couple good friends who just celebrated 53 years together.
Even with the plot holes and unbalanced story telling. ( I would have preferred less jungle time ) More after the fact time.
It’s a heartfelt story. I recommend it!

That was a very good production. For me a happy ending doesn’t need to be spelled out. After all the horror of the last battle, she simply bolted to an easier reality. I’m sure the Emperor never lost track of her, but had the wisdom to give her that healing time. I can question many decisions made by her and other characters. But the important thing for me is the entertainment value. I would definitely recommend it.

I truly like Boat and Oat. Will watch until the end. But the writing is boring.

No information on the actors. The actor who played the producer was very attractive. But the production fell flat.

On episode 21, getting a little weary of the whole gang thing. Her continued insistence of going after the leader herself. In real life she would have been dead by now. 🙄😂

On episode 3, I feel like it’s the repetitive cringe K-drama. Hoping it gets better. I truly like
In Youp but I don’t feel he’s well matched with Hye Ri. Second lead couple looks more promising. I hope they develop well their story.

This episode, was like slowly enjoying a lobster 🦞 tail. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

I think his going to bring them all down. While forcing Luqing’s hand to make a decision.🤞

Looks like Xiaofan has planned his ultimate revenge. From his point of view he has nothing to loose. Because the only thing he wants is Luquing and he can’t fully have him. He’s not settling, he’s creating a trainwreck .
May all pieces fall where they must.
Hard story to watch.
But interesting class divide in Chinese and across the world.
Reason why many gay men, won’t come out of the closet.
Luquing definitely has feelings for him.
But it’s more covinient to keep them private at home.
Xiaofan has the courage to flip over the doormat. Let’s hope.👏👏👏

I’m trying hard to put myself in Luquing and Xiaofan’s shoes. But it’s hard! I guess that’s why it’s called bittersweet love. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I’m pleasantly surprised with this story. They are truly working on involving the viewers emotionally. It’s not technically perfect, but it should have a higher rating.

I need spoiler. Never did I think this could get so bad in its next to last episode!😭

I truly enjoyed this drama. I found the FL a little childish but brave and adorable. I guess due to there preferences there wasn’t a peck on the lips. A little dull when you are portraying so much loving. It was a big production done very well, full of endearing details. I guess many died in the last battle because I never saw their end. Just wondering how many years until they found each other again? Maybe I missed it. The ML was eye candy and a great actor. Our FL is wonderful and can’t wait to see her as a grown adult in future productions.

This story has a horror children’s book vibe! Interesting.

I felt there were areas or characters that could have been better developed or more engaging.
But overall it was a beautiful story that survived the dark and came out even stronger.
It’s not until the last episodes that important explanations started to emerge. That was a little frustrating. But I give this a 9.5 and truly recommend it! Enjoy!
