It may be an unpopular opinion but i quite liked the finale. Perhaps because I understand where the decision of the FL comes from. I mean, at the begginning she is just a pushover, she had ambitions but not the courage of taking the first step by herself. Thanks to the ML she grow up until reach a point in which her love for him was a weight, a rock that made impossible for her to fly and reach her dreams. And sure, it may seem selfish but she chose herself, she chose to love herself first and then, once she was satisfied with the person she became, she went back to the ML (aka the scene with the plane ticket and the end) and not like someone who needs protection and guidance, but like someone indipendent and at the same level of her partner.
I understand that many didn't like this finale because in dramas we are quite used to see the FL end with the ML who will love her, protect her and support her both morally and financially. Therefore an ending where both the ML and the 2ML end up without conquering the FL may seem like a waste of time ( after 18 episodes of more than one hour) but I stan a indipendent woman so good job 👌🏻
