I usually LOVE law dramas but the case she made when she first appeared in court is so ridiculous that I had to drop it. It's just not true something like that could ever be considered seriously in court and it kinda made me angry. I love law dramas that actually know about law and use smart and interesting techniques and hidden holes in the law to make their characters look intelligent and capable, this is just lazy or bad writing (or both).
Woo Shik is a true gem but I didn't really enjoy the drama because of the stinky female lead, something about her just annoyed the hell out of me, and I'm not saying it's due to Uee and her acting, I just hated her character and someone else might have suited the role better.... Overall everyone else was fucking great, but this whole female lead being stinky just ruined it for me...
I am definitely NOT the person to enjoy older dramas, BUT THIS ONE? I loved it. I do admit Rains fashion at the beginning was, well let's just say they did him dirty, but it becomes more tolerable as the episodes progress. Story wise, it's pretty typical but it has some unique twists and turns which I liked, for example her forming a relationship with his family.
However, the story did just not matter to me because I loved watching the leads interact and how everything had it's reason, so that made the characters very believable and also relatable. It was very cute and fluffy too and I must admit I'm a sucker for cuteness. The main leads did a great job, I was surprised the most about Rain because I've only seen him as a singer/dancer so to see him do so well as an actor made me love him even more. Besides the leads, maybe the rest of the cast could have been better but we must keep in mind that it's a 2004 drama.
All in all, I rated it 9.5/10, and there are definitely some scenes that I'll be going back too.
One of the worst male leads I think I've ever seen in a drama, and I've seen a lot. In a way, this offended me on a feminist level too because we constantly see Ha Ni being treated badly and it just somehow never ends, I get some dramas love to start off with a love-hate relationship between the leads (and it can be very cute and enjoyable most of the time), but each one then makes a 360 turn when both of them just fall for each other and over grow the childish bickering (like almost every drama out there but let's say Full House as an example). However, here? No. Sung Jo never, and I mean EVER stops bullying her, even till the last scene, which was seriously a major turnoff for me...
The only fucking reason I finished this was the relationship between her brother and her best friend. That part was all cute and fluffy, however.... everything else was just not worth it. The worst part was the fiance for sure, I also hated how many lies and misunderstandings there were between the main leads. Honestly, I was expecting a lot because of Lee Sung Kyung, she's such a talent, but this drama did her dirty. That's all I'll say.
Lee Jun Ki (or Lee Yi Kyung) is my favorite character in this drama and one of my favorite characters ever! I can't believe how good Yi Kyung is! He's enormously talented and I enjoyed every scene he was in. I hope to see him in many new dramas, because he just deserves so much recognition!
seriously even after 17 eps. I don't get why CJL character is written this way, it completely doesn't go with…
I agree, CJL is such a bad character, how can she accuse him of lying all the time and he even tries to prove himself to her even though he didn't do anything wrong?
She comes off majorly conceited and self-centered, also, worth mentioning, he tells her she's going to die, on verge of tears, she says we should part ways, fuck off, and she doesn't give a damn that he has to go through the death of somebody he loves (not to mention she's the one he loves). Oh but no, she's in love with him, she just treats him like garbage whenever something inconvenient shows up.
Maybe watch a few more eps lol. You're not meant to completely understand at that point. It's like dropping Inception…
lol I might give it another try, bc I really like the idea behind it, but I'm really torn between watching it and dropping it, I'm kinda picky when it comes to dramas

lol but I understood inception, it's more bc I get really emotionally invested in dramas I watch, so to see Jun Ho being cheated on (possibly hurt bc of it in the future) makes me really sad
even to I know it's just a drama, yeah yeah, but I'm sensitive to stuff like that
At the end of the day, Suiits will be Suits. Both American and Korean versions suck.
How come? I never watched the american version but I find the Korean one very interesting and it keeps my attention on it all 60 minutes of an episode.

that's how annoying she was

So she cheats on him and throws away that delicious food, but then they get married anyway? What's going on
