There's definitely a lack of communication between the leads at times. There's another girl in the beginning that stands no chance and there is another girl that shows up late in the drama. ML sees right through both so no stress with them around. They stand no chance, ML only has eyes for FL. ☺️ I can't remember if there is a breakup...I've watched so many Luo Zheng dramas recently I'm getting them mixed up lol.
I really liked this drama. Has some very funny and sweet moments. Yes there is a bit of drama later on but it doesn't drag on. ML's acting has improved so so much. FL was lovely and all the secondary roles were good. Redemption bit was nice as well. Good communication between main couple. Overall I think it was great. 10/10
I actually liked this drama. ML only has eyes for FL. He is jealous, possessive and obsessed with her. FL is very cute. Another good CEO drama from Luo Zheng.
I thought it was pretty good. The actors did a good job, I mean the bad guys did a good job of pissing me off lol. ML and SML both nice to look at. OST is good too. Overall not a bad watch.

Those old guys own "shares" in the company. They have invested in Shi Yan's company. So for example if Shi Yan owns say 40% of the Yuanchang shares and those old guys have like 20% each, the old guys still own a part of the company. So although they are not the boss, they still have a say in what happens with the company. If Shi Yan wants to get rid of them he'd have to buy their shares.

Craziness in every episode, I liked it. One thing is for sure though, the luckiest character is Mei Na. She is living her best life sandwiched between the muscle and brain of the operation! Straight up smushed in between that bromance, NICE. haha
I love cliche office dramas, presidente alpha male types but had to drop this one at episode 15. It takes a lot for me to drop a drama but something happens during the second half that just annoyed me. Lead male went from kinda hot to not hot at all. The second male lead is a way better pick in my opinion. The secondary relationships are decent minus one, there's a third wheel moment that was too much for me too take!
I'd say this drama is for veteran drama watchers, be ready to go though a rollercoaster of emotions.
However, the drama is beautiful. Has a very 80s vibe to it. Reminded me a little of Dirty Dancing. Great soundtrack too. Personally I like age gaps in dramas but that's something that's very subjective. Either you like it or you don't. I will say Jerry Yan is incredibly handsome in this drama.
The ending...there are a few different scenes. Definitely makes you think about everything and come to your own conclusions. Overall I liked this drama a lot and the episodes are usually around 35mins so doesn't take long to finish. Give it a go and come to your own conclusion about it.
