Yeah we didn’t see gamin's father. Actually he didn’t appeared in manhwa season 1 as well. He was in season 2. And there was more to pi han ul charecter ark which they didn’t show. Even though gamin is the mc every charecter is equally important in the manhwa. They properly didn’t execute it in the series.

And the reason why pi han ul was able to block the forbidden technic was because he is also a beast. Also there were a lot of people who can block uncle's forbidden technic. It needs more than one technic to beat anyone. And pi han ul is also a skilled fighter. So of course he can block them.

But gamin's uncle made an appearance and he told him the moment he will believe she is dead she will actually be dead. So he should believe she is alive untill it's proven otherwise. You should read the manhwa on webtoon you will get more closure. They added some unnecessary scene also didn’t showed a lot of important charecters. Nonetheless it was good. But they story flow in last two ep was kinda disappointing. They also didn’t show the main climax. I guess it's because they didn’t had any plans foe season 2 but they left scope so the climax made less sense now.
