Lover of queer media and lengthy reviews! What to keep in mind about myself and my reviews:
- I can be very blunt about my dislikes, but I never intend to target specific staff.
- Disliking an acting performance does not equate to disliking the actor.
- Tend to be all over the place and I can get lost in the rambling.
- I treat shows that are Good Bad different from those that are Bad Bad; if you know, you know.
- I try to set equal standards of gaging writing quality for straight and queer romances since I believe they should not be set at different standards.
- I don't discriminate against which countries/languages are behind a series, and I will do my best to score them as a whole rather than giving preferential treatment or "brownie" points to a series from any specific country.
- I love shows that are so bad they end up being good.
- Doesn't shy away from strong language being used.
- Always welcoming to comments that want to discuss likes and dislikes respectfully.
- I try not to targeting those whose opinions simply differ from mine, but will not shy away from mentioning fanatics that harm the concept of honest reviewing.
- Professional yapper.
- Try not to shy away from being the "minority" that dares to voice their dislike of a series, since it seems rare for shows to have a decent amount of moderate or law rated reviews in comparison to the 10's.
- I like to write reviews on shows that I manage to complete often, but I'll occasionally skip making one if I feel like I either don't have too much to comment or something that hasn't already been perfectly said by other reviewers. As for shows I completed before I started making reviews, I'd likely have to rewatch them to write a review faithfully.
