We as the audience see many of YY's reactions to YD that she doesn't see. We see the motivations behind what he has done but she has not. Remember he has repeatedly told her the three realms are all he cares about. They had moment in a surreal situation. When the real world came knocking he did not demonstrate his love in front of her. So she has nothing to hold on to but a dream.
I found it sad that the only true friends are relationships that YY had were connected to YD and his life as mortal. After the war when he was poisoned it was YD who nursed him back to health. As TZ it was Lu Ming who protected him from the bad guys in Heaven. As TZ he gained a friend in Yumo. The only true relationship/emotional tie as YY was the Heavenly Emperor who raised him and from the spoilers I believe he is dead.
I feel like the former Demon Lord's wife is suspicious. I do not think she is as innocent as she seems. I could be wrong, but she has been acting sneaky.
