Something is wrong. This CAN'T be 16 episodes! At least 20.... BUT DAMN episode 15 was a killer. THAT ending.…
But we see a woman playing some words game (Scrabble) with the 2 children and we never saw that with the dad so... :/
(actually I just saw what happened but I wanted to explain why I thought he might have killed his mom and not his dad in those sudden memories ^^)
If the ending tonight doesn't disappoint it's a 9.5 for me seriously... I didn't know this drama would improve so much from the first episodes but I was so wrong! Please let it be a good ending ;;

I think it's memories that he killed her mother tho... not the father but the mother... We don't know about their mother and if it's the "incident" the father wrote about in his notebook then it's definitely not his own murder right? Now we need to know if it was an accident or not :/ (and it's definitely linked to the postcard Min sent him I think)
I don't want Min to die. This kid suffered too much... I wish he'd confess his crimes and peacefully serve his time in prison with his brother visiting him. I'm sure he won't kill Ji An but I can't say the same from LJY or Eun Bok (this one I kept an eye on since he lied to Lee Hyeon about being at the crime scene first stating he didn't think the guy needed this information..... ><)
Min and Hyeon indeed look good together, don't kill any of them!! ;0;
I'll miss this drama. It took me on the edge of my seat at almost each episode's end! Great acting, directing and music. The only thing I didn't like was, as bmore said in spoiler, the way those "elite" police people could be acting so dumb. The damn earpiece makes me cringe so much! But I remind myself that's only a drama (a damn good one still!) and go on with it. Don't expect romance or one-true-hero-centered plot, everyone gets the spotlight and shows useful talents =)
I feel like this drama would fit a young audience despite some bloody (usually with zero violence) scenes. Maybe…
If you'd like to watch the webtoon in live-action never watch this drama. If you're willing to watch a story close to the webtoon but not exactly the same then you'll enjoy it. I understand your feelings and I'm glad I can help you make your choice so you don't waste your time or feel too disappointed =)
I feel like this drama would fit a young audience despite some bloody (usually with zero violence) scenes. Maybe between 10 and 16 would be perfect. But even aged 26 I myself gave it 0,5 more point at the end because when you watch the whole it's not that much of a mess. I'm a big fan of the webtoon and after episode 3 I just had to draw a thin line between webtoon and drama. It's NOT the same story, almost only the same universe and same characters' names. So many things are different but still make sense. It's a beautiful love story. There's interesting stuff and I really loved the OST of both present and Joseon parts. The actors are not that bad, especially the 3 main. You can see Lee Jong Hyun overdoing his character sometimes, Yeo Jin Goo not being in the mood to be Jung Jae Min in some scenes around episodes 3 and 4 (not helping to keep up with the drama at all btw..) and Seol Hyun struggling especially when she's not talking (which is a lot of times) in the early episodes but she did get her character later on and was better than I thought.
It's not a wonderful drama. It's not following the webtoon AT ALL. But it was nice anyway and should be watched quickly and knowing in advance that there's 3 "seasons" or "parts" with the first being the present and introduction of the characters, the second being Joseon era and the third one is going back to the present with the Joseon era having an impact on it.
I need Yeo Jin Goo in something else quickly tho.... this is not his best acting ;_;
I think 1004_blue's review of this drama define my opinion the best even if I wouldn't go as far as giving it 10 haha
It's fun, refreshing and it's well played by everyone!
The fact we don't see much scenes outside of their apartments brings us closer to the characters, inside the couple's private life, each time. It deals with Korean society's issues and makes a playlist of already released (sometimes old) songs for you to listen each episode instead of repeating the same song all the time (beside opening's song).
I love the fact that every couple is dealt with differently, even for screen time. It would have been bad to give too much time to some couples and to drag their story for too long.
Sometimes I was thinking "I get the point, now move on to the next scene please" but usually I was just laughing so hard I rolled on the floor several times! Yeong Joon is especially hilarious and the main couple (609) too! I loved Joon Jae VS Do Si scenes so much even if it was déjà-vu since the first time already ^^
About the "last couple" (509) I think the characters were too much of caricatures. They were like a combo of the average Korean girl trying to marry well by hiding her true self so she can seems perfect and the average Korean man desperate to marry and please his parents by picking a girl who seems perfect without even trying to know her true self. Their end is perfect in my opinion.
So I just finished this drama, watching the last 4 episodes in one go and I have to say those, and only those, disappointed me. I didn't have high expectations because I knew about the ending before even starting and I think it was for the best. I felt so much frustration hoping for my favorite male character to have his girl but knowing he wasn't going to win her heart in the end... The OST is very good, The fact that it's still played in Hongdae's stores almost 1 month after the last episode aired is quite impressive! The actors did well, especially the main 3 (Kim So Hyun♥), and the plot doesn't have much holes. The bad girl is quite good too because I hated her so much!! I hope she can acts as a good character soon so people won't put an etiquette on her. I also loved how different plots got tangled to make us wonder about several issues at the same time, not only one by one. The pace just went down around the 13th episode and... yeah the last 4 are some sort of epilogue in my point of view. It could have been 14 or 15 episodes long and still be the same drama... But I definitely won't rewatch this one because without the mystery and knowing the ending (who owns who's heart) it's not worth it.
Guys shall I watch it? I mean I am reading a hell lot of disappointments about the ending and I absolutely hate…
You don't have to watch any other "School" drama before watching this one (but School 2013 is good too) and about the ending it depends on which characters you like... if "bad endings" for you if "not all characters are happy at the end" then this is one but in Korean drama land it's very rare ^^ About my own opinion I feel frustrated but I can't say it's a bad ending. It could have been so much worse! The last 4 episodes are just a bit frustrating depending on which couple you love the most. Overall I recommend watching this drama =)
I hope I replied without spoiling much so others who hesitate too can read my comment. I'll mark it spoiler if people ask me to do it.
I really had high expectation for this movie and even if it wasn't exactly what I was waiting for I'm far from disappointed! It was overall so funny I cried from laughing too hard. The 3 male leads are awesome and handsome but that's not all. The plot is true to 20yo's struggles and all stories get appropriate endings.
I'll remember the funny faces and catch sentences, how much youth going against corruption is a wonderful trigger, the final scene and the fight scene, Chi Ho's champion level nagging and So Hee's frank personality (my fav♥).
By the way I'd take the looser out of the three home whenever he wants o/
Ji Chang Wook is one of the best actors in dramas today. He was superior in Smile Again,Donghae and he was awesome…
oh really? :o
I loved him way more in WBDS than in Five Fingers, too much melodrama for me. Although I do agree about Empress Ki. His role suits his skills perfectly.

High rewatch value :)
