After watching it again recently, I actually think this one of the best BLs to come out of GMMTV. I was definitely too harsh in my first watch. Perhaps I got bit too distracted by the the whole vision situation and missed out on the other elements - or maybe watching all episodes back to back works better than one per week. Also, looking back on it, the whole vision thing is not really that important in the end. Yes, it does drive part of the story to a degree, but it's the relationship between Jerome and Jinn that I found most endearing and intersting to watch.
The romantic relationship between Jinn and Jerome is so lovely. It is a lot more real to life than what is usually depicted in BLs. Okay, it's not perfect, but the two of them cuddling, kissing, being intimate, working through issues and generally being a couple spending time together throughout the greater part of the series is very refreshing to see. I don't know if people just want to see the usual BL trope of 11 episodes of "chasing" until they do a basic kiss at the end for 10 seconds, but that is completely uninteresting to me as a more mature gay person, and has no resemblance to real life.
The side couple Wan and Farm are also great in this. Their relationship has a different story with other challenges, again quite close to real life, and I thought it was well executed. It also contrasted with Jinn and Jerome's relationship - otherwise you get two of the same thing.
I've done a proper U-turn on this, which very rarely happens, and I now put this at the top of my list of GMMTV BLs so far. I have also changed my mind about this pairing, as for some time I felt Sea may not have been the right partner for Keen, but you know what, they looked really good together in this!
