the director has a lot to do with the acting choices and sometimes people like Earth are typecast as the hot one or the hot and stoic one that is not easy too because there is so little to work with so the actor would have to do the heavy lifting giving with the director too because the actor in the end has little to say if he isn't a big shot. sometimes those companies or agencies totally bank on the looks of the actors but don't even bother enough with acting classes for their talents, just my speculation. I haven't seen cupid's wish yet, so I can't judge concerning this
