ok. as we know Pran always thinks through possible outcomes had no one he could be completely honest to and was uprooted in highschool, because he dared to put his toe out of line. he is still financialy dependent on his parents and he is still bonded strongly to family. knowing all that about him and seeing him going out of his comfort zone and risk for the news about their relationship to finally reach his parents, he doesn't push Pat away, once it is clear they are in a romantic relationship, he is willing to compromise even if it might jepordize their relationship in the long run, because he doesn't want to hurt Pat. When he disagrees with Pat he talks with him in private, he is willing to hear him out and doesn't hold grudges for mistakes in the past, like lying to meet up with Ink for the photoshoot and leave them hanging that one evening for the bus stop, I'm sure it must have hurt but after telling him if he doesn't want other's to know something he shouldn't put it on his ig, it was done. also it must have been frustrating to write a love song about friends and mixed signals when Pat was so dense af he didn't even get that it was about him even if he joked about it being their story.
