a fellow student, way back when, did an interview with an contemporary artist, totally forgot the dudes name (was never really into contemporary art that much) he was asked questions about interpretations of his works and he was getting annoyed and answered, he just painted it without much thought and it was annoying that people wanted to analyze every fart about it ^^

most of the time I can't connect with most of female characters, they are often not very relatable, too perfect, without flaws, or caricatures and so on, Ink and Pa are finally characters that are even on the perfect side, they are still relatable and charming, would be great if there were more like them

was just recently watching Pearl next door (from the philippines) and the first couple of episodes are quite good and they are all beautiful, however I personally was disappointed at the end and it was too little pay-off for what I experienced, never heard of a thai gl before
might be more material as yuri manga or anime, tried watching citrus (yikes for me)
one nice comedy is but I'm a cheerleader, most of the material I watched was a little disappointing to me personally though and none where at bad buddy level, so perhaps I'm not the best person to answer your question but you got my 2cts anyway, sorry
