you are right, she might have had pressure from her parents too, we don't know, although sometimes the pressure put on women is different than put on man, doesn't mean it doesn't happen though. I had pushed a lot of expectations on me like to work, earn money, get married, be in a relationship, have a certain weight, have certain house-wife qualities but alas am a downright failure in those fields ^^
