Every week I desperately wait for the new episode. Then when it’s finally released, being the clown I am I’m like.. ‘I won’t watch it immediately so I don’t need to wait for so long next time.’ But I can’t bear to wait for longer than 3 hours so I end up watching it, smile like a fool for 80 minutes and then bang my head on the wall because it’s Monday the next day.
I think it can cost up to 5-5,5 thousand USD in Korea but in many countries the treatment is partially covered…
Oh, I see. I am glad you got lucky with the cost of the treatment. I also got mine as an adult so I feel your pain. I actually talked about the costs with Korean friend of mine and even though hers were more expensive than mine, when we compare minimal wage I guess it's still more affordable in Korea than in my country. Haha.. I am just gonna cry in the corner. :_)
this is slowly becoming my healing show. on the one hand, i wish i could watch all the episodes at once but on the other, there is something magical about reading the comments after every episode and thinking about the show once in a while during the busy week.
The fact that braces cost more than 1000USD in S.Korea is appalling to me... medical-care is really cheap here…
I think it can cost up to 5-5,5 thousand USD in Korea but in many countries the treatment is partially covered until you reach 18yo. Wasn't that the case for you? Braces can get really expensive.
Super disappointed by the ending. This drama was different from the beginning so I had high hopes. I really believed she will get out of that stupid unhealthy relationship and drama will send a positive message to the girls that are in similar situation but no. Here we are, romanticising an abuser and manipulation. 👏👏
This could definitely be a series. I don't get how there can only be two more left. there's still so much I want…
Exactly!! For example, when I think about it, they never explained why Mi Joo started crying when Seon Gyeom run into her in Jeju. Like, I get she was scared, but I don't think she would have cried so easily if there wasn't a story behind it. Especially, when it's Mi Joo we are talking about. The same goes for the gun. They kinda explained why she has it, but I think there's more. Then there is the story of Dan Ah's family and the thing with Yeong Hwa's friend. I don't think they will explain/resolve all of that in two episodes.
To tell the truth, I don't expect the second season. But I'm sure, this writer will bring us another great drama soon. Even though it will be hard to "let the characters go." One special episode to wrap it up would be really nice!
Why do you think Cha Eun Woo is a bad actor? I truly don't understand and have like thousand question marks in…
I don’t really mind stiff acting. Somehow, I take the ‘stiffness’ as a part of the played character. But during his crying scene, it suddenly came to me... I realised... ah. This is just a drama. He is not Suho he is Eunwoo, although trying his best. When this happens to me with anyone, then I consider them lacking actors. But I’m sure he will improve by time. I just wish they would not put the burden of being the main lead on him from the start.
Ooo, good point. I didn't catch this one. Maybe she knows something?
that would actually be a really refreshing development of the story. i wish you are right. but when i think about it, the way she reacted when grandma asked her if she likes dosan from the past or present kinda showed she is clueless.
does anyone know what Jung Kyung said to Song Ah or what happened in the preview for episode 6??
Jung Kyung told Song Ah that it's been 15 years since she and Joon Young know each other. In a way like she tries to scare her. And yeah.. that might somehow lead to Song Ah saying Joon Young she doesn't want to be friends with him.
I have been thinking about the lack of kisses, is it because of Covid-19? I know how kdramas can be about it but…
I also felt it... but, i don’t think it’s because of covid. There are other dramas airing right now that don’t avoid kisses. I wonder why is this drama like this...
