Interesting but flawed
After the first 2 episodes I didn't want to watch anymore it bc of the holes and weird choices characters made...BUT, for some reason I was Hooked....A weird combination of 13th reason why, soap drama, high school girl terror, gangster violence, corruption story and hero savior, battle royal...this series has it ALL. You'll never know what's around the corner and that is RARE in this day and age where most tropes are repeated over and over. At first, you feel the need to check for the 5th time that you're not watching a 2nd or 3rd season of the same show and you just need to confirm it"s actually season 1, and that everything you see wil start to make sense down the line. Also we do not talk about episode 5/6 (wtf was even that). Yeah, there are inconcistancies...glaring ones at that, and stuff that doesn't make any sense for the characters to do, or don't do, and mainly the reason I gave it a 7 while it could have been a 9 (at least) without all those mistakes. But in the end the twists and weird shit are kinda worth it, kinda. Now for season 2....Was this review helpful to you?
Rollercoaster!!
After seeing the first episode I thought I had seen the whole series already, but they went a slightly different direction to what I thought they would (or should) do. It became a cat and mouse game and a fun one at that. There is comedy, drama and a little bit of action. Everything put together is a well rounded mix and a fun story with many twists and turns. From the beginning you think you know, and you'll be kind of right, but they will play on that and take the series in a different direction and therefore certainly worth watching!
