I agree that this feels like a daily drama, but it's not as bad as the rating makes it to be. It's filmed like a reality show so it makes sense that it would be different from anything else that has aired recently.

I'd also recommend Maids as a new beginner sageuk. This drama deals with conflicts between the upper- and lower class. Most of the time you don't even notice that it's historical. And the scenery is to die for!

I haven't seen Jo Hyun Jae in a drama since 49 Days (I know he had dramas after that). Loving the cast!

I watched one episode of Date, and it was absolutely hilarious.
