It was distributed by a Thailand production company for broadcast. It is a fully Mainland production - production team, actors, & location. Last May, Mainland China laws were changed & the NRTA changed their policies to allow BL & Danmei to be licensed to be broadcast abroad. That is why 166 new CBLs have been announced. 72 have aired. Some are only broadcast in the Mainland.
They also decided that BLs & Danmeis that have been filmed will be broadcasted gradually because it would be a loss for the producers if they’re not broadcasted. During this period of broadcast, no domestic ones will be filmed, unless they are licensed to be broadcasted abroad. After this period, domestic BLs will resume filming.
These were the laws & policy changes that have allowed you to enjoy CBLs in 2025-26. It was not a “loophole” as many claim. It was a literal law & policy change. All CBLs that you have seen are approved for broadcast by the NRTA.

This was such an emotional episode. Heartbreak & sadness with Comrade Ploeng’s death & finding comfort in eo & then Sasin & Ravin’s longing & need to be closer to each other after they realized they shouldn’t waste time being apart. Sasin taking him to that mountain was a confession of love alone. They are so sweet together!
