Loved it & loved the message of equality throughout. They did a superb job supporting the right to same sex marriage & equal rights for LGBTQ+. Wonderful story, production, & acting. Looking forward to binging it in the near future…so happy Pisaeng & Kawi are together & in love.
Wonderful love story, beautiful cinematography, well done production, & amazing acting. I absolutely adored this adaptation of Addicted. It’s perfect. Even the heartache at the end was portrayed so well…if you want to be comforted, read Part 2 of Addicted the novel❤️ The OST is beautiful & I cannot wait til it’s released. Sooo looking forward to Part 2 coming to life🥰 This is the best Chinese drama I’ve seen, let alone BL. We’ve been blessed.
I feel like we’re finally getting baby steps from Akira. Maybe they’re “progressing” so slowly because we’re only 1/2 way through the season & they’re drawing it out… I’m still disappointed in the lack of character development this season. Neither one has been truly happy in this relationship & Shin is the only one working hard to keep it.
If it’s just like the novel (and they’re following the story lines pretty well), S2 will be Part 2 and will resume 8 years later…love this adaptation of Addicted🥰. There’s so much love.
Yes, GMMTV did have a show with a sad ending. I'll spoil which one in my comment bellow:
Thank you. I haven’t watched that series (and I probably won’t if someone dies), but I did look it up to see if there are similarities since you said it’s under the same production company. I noticed Be My Fav is in the exact same time slot 3yrs later. Hope that’s not a sign. Holding out for a happy ending for Pisaeng & Kawi…
Is this going to be a heartbreaking ending? I’m going to need spoilers next week before I watch the finale. Has GMMTV ever had a series with a sad ending?
Shin has waaay too much patience. If Akira is worried about what people think, he can avoid PDA til he’s comfortable, but he avoids all contact - even in their home. He’s gone from being annoying to being cruel to Shin. The division of the room was just mean. Shin just wants reassurance of his love in words or physical touch and he gets nothing but confusion & avoidance from Akira. Shin needs to move on til Akira matures. Season 2 is really disappointing when there has been no character development in five eps.
Liking it so far…they’re really cute! Confused by the timeline - I have no idea how much time passed from their initial meeting to the second Ep when they’re living & working together. Looking forward to binging it later. KBLs are knocking it out!💜
