It’s my account. Aka I own it so I’m in charge of the parental controls. What I’m saying is in Korea Grid is listed as a 15+ drama. However, in my country ratings for shows only go up to TV-14 (anything above that is just TV-14 for Disney+). So therefore even after using my vpn to switch to Korea’s disney+ my country’s rating system is still there. So even though I can access every show no matter the rating in my country I cannot for Korea’s content due to not being able to go above what Korea deems 15+. I’m certain Disney did this on purpose to prevent vpn users from watching it. It’s just frustrating.
For me its these ones: Sweet Home (Netflix loves to end on cliff hangers) Arthdal Chronicles (I've been waiting forever for this one) Extracurricular (cliff hangers, I need answers!) All of us are Dead Extraordinary You (This drama has room for so much more, the world is limitless) Liar Game (Kr Ver) The Uncanny Counter Falling into your Smile (Chinese)
I thought I could get around disney+ only making it available in South Korea by using my VPN but I can't even then. It claims "my parental restrictions" won't allow me. This is because in the US the highest rating on Disney+ is TV14. So even though I am the owner of the account and have the rating of watching everything TV14 and below I can't watch Grid because in Korea its rated 15. And apparently the parental restrictions/controls don't change even when using a vpn. Anyone else have this issue and know how to get around it?
I liked it but I think I would've liked it more with less episodes. It seemed too long, the fact that Gwinam attacked them what three or four separate times was too repetitive. Once or twice was enough, his whole revenge ark was stupid like...so what he killed the principal wow...anyway...I think I could've gone without the assembly woman's parts. I know they were only there to setup the dad going to save his daughter but wow he got there and saw her for a whole 5 minutes before dying. I didn't think I'd like the cop's storyline that much but his was more entertaining than the dad's. I think I would've rather have seen more of their story than the dad's journey to the school. I also didn't really care for Nayeon's storyline either. She literally had so many chances to apologize and when she finally decides to dies? Yeah...I mean I guess she got what was coming for her. Onjo didn't deserve Cheongsun or her dad tbh. She was irritating sometimes. I did like Namra and Soohyuk's story but again the entire think was drug out too long. I liked it regardless, just wish they had snipped a couple of episodes.
The people who have antibodies, do they turn into half zombies? Because the girl who wanted to destroy the phones,…
From what I got from it the virus was mutating and adapting. So therefore certain people like the cell phone girl (I think her name was Eunji) and Namra were sort of caught in-between life and death. All those who regularly turned were dead according to a medical standpoint, their hearts stopped. But it seems those like Eunji and Namra's hearts were still beating and were somewhere in-between life and death. So sort of half-zombie. We aren't really told why this is the case for these certain people but it's all boiled down to that it's the virus learning and changing with the environment.
So, if I wanted to have it make sense and I was one of the writers, I'd say Luna dragged some of them away as…
I think it was because she felt bad. She missed her last call and she thought that she could’ve been calling for help. But I’m just gonna say the whole sister story in general was bland. Like her sister knew she did wrong and her reasoning for dragging her up to the moon was to “see the silent sea.” Like come on. Just say you screwed up and need your sister to come right your wrongs. It just felt like they tried to do something poetic but missed it by a long shot. I’m also confused where the hell the lunar water even came from? If it freezes once it hits the air outside the station where did they find it? They certainly didn’t find it on the station since it’s man-made. So therefore that means they found it outside on the moon’s surface….so like…wouldn’t it be frozen? Did they just chip away at a bunch and bring it inside the station to thaw? I think we needed more on that. And then I agree with the clones story needing to be more prominent. Like we don’t even know how they were made?
WTF was that physics+maths in the final episode?! You get multiplied water from 1 person and it blows up the ventilation…
I do feel like they didn’t do proper science shit. But then again with the water it was never really specified if it just worked on humans. Plants still technically are alive and grow. So I’m fine with the water expanded because of it. But I do agree with you on why the hell were the plants even there. How were they there? I’m also just plain curious how everyone beforehand died. We seen some drink the water. Okay makes total sense as to why they’d die. But did they all drink it? Or did it just come into contact with their skin? I feel like there could’ve been room for survivors if not everyone drank it. It was a huge station so you can’t tell me a group that didn’t drink the water couldn’t lock themselves away. But anyway. I thought for the last scene (the doors) the inside door (or outside if coming from there) had to be locked for the other to be opened. But again I could be wrong. I’m just trying ti makes some sense out of this. But even if that is the case they still had Luna who was arguably strong enough to bust the door down.

I think when you're in survivor mode you'd not want to sleep. Also if you think a rescue crew is coming you may…
I will say the candy does make a reappearance. I do think that there’s one scene in particular that I feel like would’ve disabled a character for way longer than we seen. That’s my only complaint. I know in my heart that they are so active because it’s a show. But there’s a scene where the Captain gets slung around and so much so in a way that would probably break your spine. And to see him be fine 5 mins later is just so unbelievable. It’s very similar to a scene in the amazing Spider-Man 2 where a character breaks her spine after falling from a high place and Spider-Man’s web didn’t fully support her. So when it stopped and jerked her it broke her spine and she died instead of it saving her. I felt like the Captain very well could’ve died in that scene but didn’t. Then again idk how shit like gravity works on the moon and I’m too lazy to look it up so I could be wrong. But I agree with you when it come to that point.
The thing I'm most peeved about that we didn't get answers to is Dr. Song's sister's death. I mean she obviously died at the station but we never saw how? Did she succumb to the water? Did she get shot and bleed out? We don't really know. I mean it's highly likely it was the water but we never saw her body. I felt like that was needed. Which brings me to wonder if maybe she somehow got out? Like maybe they didn't show her body for a reason?
I mean he still killed innocent people so not all good. But I do see why he joined the other side. However, the…
Yeah I definitely think had he given it some thought and approached them he could've. He had the right mindset to do so. But I think the guilt definitely got to him.
I felt like it could've went 50/50. I thought he died but then I also thought he didn't. His suit obviously quit working but anything could happen. I don't think the water pushed him out because he would've been frozen in it had that been the case. So then I'm only to assume Luna got him out. Which makes sense since she knew exactly where he was plus his suit was slightly frozen. So the water got to him but she pulled him from it before it could freeze him in it. So only the water dripping from his suit froze.
